Nariko's sister, Kay is playable. She uses a crossbow and you can guide the projectiles with the sixaxis or the analogue sticks if you prefer.
We've all seen how good the facial animation is and the cutscenes that were seen today were no exception. The emotion in the characters is incredible.
It's very simple to perform "super****" moves. Just press O! You have a super****gauge, not sure if it refills over time or through pickups.
Counters are performed by pushing Triangle at the moment of block, just like Ninja Gaiden. There are two levels of counter. If you get the timing perfect you do a badass counter that kills your main target and knocks down surrounding enemies.
The sheer number of characters on screen at times is astounding and the graphics are awesome, especially the lighting. The latest build of the game was shown and the framerate is looking steady, should be no problems by the time it ships.
