It is comepletly clear that big publishers, such as Ubisoft and WB, do not want casual gamers to turn to PC. In fact, if they had pushed the bars on PC for this game and the gap was too big between the console and PC version of the game, many would have refrained from buying it on consoles. And if the same practise had happened by other publishers as well, then casual gamers' taste would have started to change and shift towards PC gaming.
I'm not justifying their action. All I'm saying is that they do not want to lose consoles' market as it is more lucrative for them than that of PC.
"Ubisoft purposefully kept the PC version of The Division somewhat "in check" with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions of the third-person shooter"
I love the way the author implies that the PC version was advertently held back just because of consoles.
@srichard5_basic: You are right. But, this one is important because now that the dust has settled and people have seen the true face of Destiny, the corporate publisher tries to minimize the damage of the upcoming Tsunami, that is less people log into their servers, by sending out surveys.
a) I don't like repetitive games b) I prefer spending my time on more important and enjoyable things to wasting it on finding a loot c) Hate the RNG system for games d) Hate feeling/being robbed by the publisher
