In fact, we used to play games on our Nintendo which were completely playable day one. And now, more than 20 years later, we should be worried about 2-or 3-gig patches for each game upon release.
Complete the game in every aspect and then release it, even if it requires you to push back your deadline.
Having played MGS recently for hours, I should say the game is not as good as people used say when it released. It is so repetitve and pretty much doing the same mission over and over. In fact, I somewhat agree with @celtic_34 that witcher 3 is the only game of 2015 which is worth the time you put into. It is one of those therapeutic games of which make you feel relaxed during the gameplay.
@lonesamurai1: I, for one, do not care about the game being released on PC as well. In fact, I am going to receive a very good software for my hardware, and that is all that matters to me. Why would I want to feel bad about other platform owners having the same experience and fun?!
Overall, I believe that is really stupid of someone to feel like that in life.
Oh shit. Sony is playing his hand very smart here.
I bet they are looking for a way to revive Silent Hill. And yes,I believe they are looking for a way to make it happen with Del Toro and Kojima. Speculations I know, but if one looks very closely at what they are doing, s/he cannot fail to notice the probability of such an attempt by Sony.
It is good to see EA is still supporting BF4. In fact, these kinds of supports should be appreciated by the community. Now, I can say BF4 is a very good deal for those who have not tried the game yet.
