congratulation
Iliked the blue light too much
the New PC lokks great,
Hope you enjoy using it all the way
You gatta make sure that your motherboard supports the VGA and enables you to benefit ftrom it's performance
It's known that Computer performance follows the slowest hardware
8800 GTX [which i have] has A DDR3 ram which will mean nothing if your motherboard don't fully use it
Second issue will be your power supply 8800 GTX requires a massive source of power [it requires 2 separate power cable from power supply] usually comes when your power supply is over 600 watts
2 GB of Rams should be enough however 3 GB is better safe then sorry 8800 GTX is great but AA may create some problem if your Ram is low [XP uses less Ram then Vista]
I Got The 8800 GTX and to power it up i had to get Crossair Power Supply with 620 Watts
the catch is that the 8800 GTX Needed 2 separate 6 Pin Cables from the power supply and my old power supply had only one
Usually the VGA Box contain a guide around the power requirement and the rest is up to you to figure it out
I Guess Crysis Is On the Top Of My Wish List Right Now
I was waiting till i was able to afford Nvidia 8800 GTX so i can enjoy the game as it is
Well, i got the powerfull VGA newly and i expect to buy the game the next couple of days
wish me luck 8)
I Got The 8800 GTX Couple of days back and I'm getting Crisis game somewhere around this week so I really can't say any thing about that specific game however I'll tell I problem I had that is really not related to any fact in my opinion but it happened the first time I got my 8800 GTX I removed the driver for my old 7950 GT and removed the card and installed the new one then i installed the driver (I'm an experts since I've changed my VGA a lot of times) so after finishing i tried testing my Need For Speed ProStreet (Not That there will be any difference from my old VGA but just for the fun of it ) but every thing was a slideshow I Tried reinstalling the VGA Driver and updating DirectX but no use, the game was still slow even on low resulting and features disabled and it was working fully on the old VGA I even removed the VGA and Tried fixing it in the slot again but invain It' wasn't till I changed the VGA slot (My Motherboard has 2) till everything was back to normal Now I know this sounds weird and stupid but it happened and I even tried my old VGA again on the first slot and it worked Hope this could of some use to you
As for Vista i've been using it ever since it becomes available and i played Bioshock on It With Full Settings and i don't recall any problem i think Vista is even better packed OS the XP but that's just me
OK
Here it goes
change the Quad-Core to the best Duel-Core ( it spares you some money, no game application uses Quad)
and make the 8800GTS320 to a 8800GTX, why wait until november ? ( spend the money you save on a 8800GTX)
whoody12
Cong For Your New Set, Looks amazing
i gotta approve with the Dual Core, you really don't need Quad, it'll save you some money that you can invest in your VGA
and since you are spending money on your VGA Go straight for the 8800 GTX Ultra, 8900 won't have that much to add and you'll lose what ever you spend on your VGA 8800 GTS
you can still upgrade your VGA in a year or so
As i said 8800 Ultra is really amazing however rather too expensive
DX10 Game support is still to come and i have the option of changing to 8800 in couple of months right !
Yes I Did ?? is it Bad
I Mean i think i can still replace things !!!
