The PS3 is a console for people who prefer to game alone. If youre going to argue that the PS3 library is superior, youre going to mention PS3 exclusives such as Uncharted, MGS4, God of War and Heavy Rain. Good games? I do not doubt it. But being all single player games they are not my cup of tea as I prefer gaming in a social setting.
If you are going to argue X360s library is superior, youre going to mention Halo, Forza and Gears of War, all games played competitively (2 of them being MLG games) and taken seriously on Xbox Live.
Keep in mind this is a generalization with there being exceptions to this thought, but you get my point.
Another supporting arguement for my claim is the heightened level of competition you will find on XBL. Part of this stems from you only finding serious gamers on XBL (considering they are willing to pay for the service). Another reason being X360 tends to be more competitive gamers for the reason stated above.
PS3 does single player well. X360 does multiplayer well. PSN = minor leagues. XBL = major leagues. My humble opinion. Discuss.
