why will I get banned anyway? My xbox does not work and Im not using it to play burned games. How will they know I have changed my laser?

I have got a faulty xbox 360 disc drive at the moment, it does not work at all. I went on ebay and ordered a BenQ drive and I didn't know my drive was the lite on one. I couldn't tell the difference. I tried to cancel the order but it came anyway. I opened the benQ and got the lasers out of it and I swapped the lasers. My Xbox now works. If I go online now, Will I get banned from xbox live of this?
