Make it next gen. The Riddick world seems to work better in video games than in motion picture. I have yet to see the latest one though.

When it comes to films there are always blockbuster flicks that are crowd pleasers, they don't necessarily win oscars, but are well received by the mainstream audience. You know, like Michael Bay's Transformers, and its gaming equivalent..the Call of Duty series I guess? (that was almost too easy, teehee)

And then there are the heavier ones that don't necessarily appeal to everyone, but they garner tons of Oscar nods, like say, The Artist, and you can compare it to games like Journey, The Path and this.

My point is, I'm glad games like these are appearing more frequently in our beloved gaming world, to show everyone how much the gaming medium has evolved. Hopefully we'll get gaming awards that honor obscure but thoughtful experiences like this one.
