the hardest RPG to complete is black sigil, not because of the difficulty, but the patience required to fight a random battle every 2 steps.

the hardest game gamplay-wise is probably FFIV.

Pokemon, it's a good game but i just can't see how people can keep spending 100s of hours continually training slightly varied pokemon, with every slightly varied release. i stopped a gold and silver on gameboy colour. but i guess younger gamers will find it new.

Final fantasy crystal chronicles is a good action rpg, with a great but slightly confusing story. and voice acting "that sounds like an episode of pokemon" but is a great replayable game.

final fantasy 4 was good but i think it was one of the worst ones on the series, the worsed on SNES anyway, but it was revolutionary and set up alot of elements used in the others.

Final fantasy II (IV) was the first game that i ever played that had a plot worth the lines upon it was written, and it holds a special place in my heart. I didn't really want it to be changed, but according to the reviewers the changes seem to be for the best.
