From what I can tell, the second pic you have posted is actually from FIFA 10 (I am used to that screen in Manager Mode, Chelsea is my team), not 11. So I would bet that your copy is legit, although my experience with 11 is limited.

The playstation 1 and the original gameboy I can see selling, but do keep in mind that Wii games will drop in price like crazy in a few months (pre and post xmas sales/liquidations). And keep the Sega CD for sure, that is classic.

Whatever you do, don't sell that TG-16! Unless you wanted ME to negotiate with you about it :P

I've seen an other thread that said that you cant even use your original Forza 3 save but I'm not sure if that guy was telling the truth or if it was just a random glitch.

SoftAsBaboonAss

I assure you that I am telling the truth. I would like to think it is a glitch, but the is nothing wrong with my save file(i.e. corrupted data). Heres my original post for all that care to read it.

"I just got my copy of Forza 3 Ultimate collection in the mail. Thought I was making a "smart" move by trading in my original copy since I didn't have the DLC for the game and was pretty excited to jump back in after a few month absence from the game. To my utter shock, disgust, and disbelief, the game refuses to acknowledge my previous save file. There is no "corrupted content" message, it loads up just fine with the exception of the 100+ hour save file I have. Has anybody else experienced this problem with Forza or any other game of the year edition? This is so frustrating that I don't even want to play the game (at least for the moment). If anybody has has had any issues with this type of subject, I would love to hear your thoughts."

@ Thanos_Greece- If you have any luck with the loading of the ultimate disc to play that content on the original game please post your success story here. I have a plan to do the same thing (trouble shooting a bunch of theories actually) but with my school schedule this week (finals), I won't get to it till friday. And concerning what the2nd post said,the one item that you won't be able to get is the "Stig's Garage" it is a DLC code that is included in the game. I also found out that the VIP pack is not on the Ultimate Collections DLC disc, which is a complete rip off. If you don't have it then you would have to buy it for 800 points. Let me know what you guys come up with here, I really would like to figure out what I can do as well as what others are able to get out of this situation.

i just bought it and im loving it. but ive never played Forza 3 before. I had a 20 dollar off code from amazon so i only paid 14 bucks for this game. After GT5 flopped, i decided to save some dough and buy Forza 3 instead and im lovin it. great graphics, great racing, and great community. as far as them not including every piece of downloadable content, im not disappointed cause what they give you is nice for someone who hasnt played Forza 3 before

todd2r

Sure for what you paid and being new to forza that is great for you. But you still won't have access to the VIP pack without buying it, and that is inexcusable. The VIP pack has some of the games greatest cars (AM DBS for example). And I assume you are not into racing games like I am so while I am still upset with turn 10, I am glad you have found a decent racing game to play.

Uh, but I have to disagree with you about GT5 being a flop, that really isn't the case with that game at all.:roll:

@UCF_Knight

Well something else you may want to know is the Top Gear video is a bunch of rehashed clips. Thats a bunch of garbage too.

And something else to consider folks, the VIP car pack is NOT included in the "Ultimate Collection". In my mind that makes the statement of "Contains All Content Available on Xbox Live" on the back of the box well, False Advertising. I just sent an email to turn 10 about this, although they probably wont reply.So don't buy this collection, its just takes agood licensed and makes it embarassing. Bad investment.

[QUOTE="shaun_ofda_dead"]

[QUOTE="edinsftw"]

The reason i like game informer is that they give you a look into upcoming games, and they dont just give their opinions on the reviews, they layout the game for you with their score on the side, and they give you enough information to decide if its a type of game you would like.

edinsftw

i have read quite a few issue of gi before, and they tend to score games based on the popularity. also they ignore games that arent marketed very well (see blazeblue). and as far as previews go, the tend to preview games that don't get released because of "the scoop" factor (see the snoop dog game or the oddville game), as well as focus previews on games that devs give them access to (the beatles game) and then rate them higher than they deserve as to say "thanks developer for the inside access scoop". and they have gotten rid of most of their great editors years ago. reiner is a tool, and his opinions are "god" in his mind. i dont want somebody's personal opinion, i want information. and the humor is pretty lame actually.

eh, some people like chevy's, i prefer a porsche.

I think you just dont agree with their scores so you hate the magazine, i disagree with many of them, but they do give you info on the game to make your own decision...plus i get the free lol.

It's not even justthe reviews, it's the editors, the (lack) of good content, the fact that a quarter of the mag has become a "catalog" of stupid items that have very little to do with games. It's just crap.The latest issue of egm I bought has like 5 interviews with people form the industry, and guess what? The mag didn't try to sell me something. It also has articles in it that pertain the actual culture of video games. Imagine that.
