IMO they should.

Game ratings are not just for you to use in the SW.

It's a indication for everyday gamers to see the goods and the bads of the games before they put down the hard earnd money for the games.

Let's just assume that most PC gamers out there have mid to low range PCs.

C&C 3 will be a better buy than SC for them.

Where is the fun when your PC can't really run the game properly.

and the GS scores show that .

in the other hand. consoles don't have that problem because every PS3 out there can play motor storm equaly, same goes for 360 and GeoW.

Now think again.

This is public Beta you are talking about here.

What's the purpose of THIS PUBLIC MULTI-PLAYER BETA test? What dose Bungie whant to get from releasing this version of Halo 3 beta?

They still have 5 to 6 month of development time left, why do they release this ugly version (according to some ) for ppl to download?

It seems ppl are forgeting that this is public multi-player beta we are talking about here. The purpose of this public test is to get the feetbacks from large amount of players for FREE, and maybe sell some copys of Crackdown along the way. But why multi player beta not the single player beta if they want to show off the visual side of the game? dose these terms mean anything?

Weapons balancing?

Networking around the world?

Maps layouts?

not all the beta teses out there is about visuals.

I believe even when we are arguing on the SW form as of now. The development team within bungie is still busy working on improving the graphic. Getting ready to show some really impressive stuff at E3.

When the releasing date draws closer, Bungie will have it's in-house professional game testers to test Halo 3's real Beta.

Think about it!!

They are pretty equal, but the PS3's design will eventually kick it in the ***.  If it were built with a GPU that is up to the same standard as the CPU, then there wouldn't be that much of a problem, but sadly that is not the case.  To even further the problem, the Blu-Ray doesn't read fast enough to keep up with the rest of the system and developers usually end up having utilize the HDD to shorten load times.

PS3 = all power, no manoeuvrability.

no ps3 is way more poweful it doesnt show rite now but when the games start to come out youll see that the 360 is no match for the ps3

Baller_ps3

Yes you are right, PS3 is more powerful no doubt. Just like the Rocket car is more powerful than a F1 car.

In your opinion, which machine is faster??

Rocket car is bulit with powerful jet engine to break the land speed record, and very good at what it is designed to do.

F1 car is also powerful and designed to run very fast.

Everyone knows that Rockek car has more power and higher top speed than the F1 car. But the F1 car has better manoeuvrability.

If you put the two machines in the normal racing circuits ( Nurburgring, Laguna Seca...etc), the F1 will win every time.

If the race is designd for the rocket car in mind ( drag, landspeed record racing), the rocket ar will take the victory.

Conclusion: more power (higher peek performance) =/= faster, manoeuvrability (easier to handle) is equally important.

[QUOTE="icEx07"][QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"][QUOTE="360_Degrees"]I'm really surprised this hasn't been mentioned much before.
Where is Sony's great, exclusive, new IP's?

Hmm, the only 2 games that come to mind are Motorstorm and Resistance, both which flopped.
Lets take a look at their future prospects: Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, Devil May Cry 3, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, Ratchet and Clank 5? (forgot which one they are on now). Notice a trend here? Maybe throw in some Jak and Daxter and we're ballin'

Seriously though, where the hell are its Mass Effect, Alan Wake, Too Human, Gears of War, Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, Bioshock, Shadow Run, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Huxley, etc.?

It seems like all the new IP's on the PS3 are multi-plats (they even needed to pretend they were exclusive, ie. Assassin's Creed, Fatal Inertia, and Bladestorm). I'm a fan of sequels, but seriously, when a game like Gears of War comes out and destroys the competition, its usually a refreshing gaming experience for a console.

PS - I understand that the PC counts as a console, but in terms of casual gamers (making up approx 80% of the market), I think its irrelevant to try and argue it in this thread.

Agree or disagree?

Rhaxdric

You're forgetting about Lair, BLP, White Knight, and Heavenly Sword. So when you take away the 4 "exclusive" 360 IP's that are also on the PC, you get this:

360: Mass Effect, Too Human, Gears of War, Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata

vs.

PS3: Motorstorm, Resistance, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Little Big Planet, White Knight

Now its 7 to 6, not quite so lopsided.

isn't gears going to pc one day too...

[QUOTE="HappyInvader101"]The PS3 has some new games coming, some are already out... Resistance: Fall of Man Motorstorm Heavenly Sword White Knight Stories (i think thats what its called) Lair those are all the ones i can name of the top of my head, i have never really looked at the PS3 latley The PS3 and the Wii will have their fair share of sequels, the 360 is the only console that isnt really

Lol, 7 to 7 with my addition. Hmmmm, even.

If you want to put Resistance & Motorstorm in that listm please put the released new ip titles for 360 as well..... Kameo, Dead Rising, Crackdown, Table Tennis...... see?? the numbers are not even again!

Lems and Hermits listen up! I myself am an avid CS: Source/1.6 gamer and console gamer. No offense but you Lems and Hermits are making yourself look like idiots. The truth is, it doesn't matter which is better UNLESS a console player is playing with a pc gamer on crossover. For example, if I am playing with a gamepad on lets say.....Rainbow Six Vegas. As long as I am playing with other players who are using gamepad I will have the same skill as them because we both have the same limitations. So I will still own people and get owned by people. Same with PC, as long as I'm playing with a PC gamer I will own and get owned. So the experience will essentially be the same.

So to sum it all up, no matter what platform you are playing on, as long as you have the same controller it won't matter because everyone has the same chance as you. To call the same FPS better than the one for PC or 360 because of the controls is downright stupid (yes I am talking about you guys) because you are playing with the same controller.

Dopemonk736
Listen to this man people!!! You don't see a F1 driver saying "my F1 car is faster than your bike" to a moto GP rider. It's just different. Is it faster...maybe. Is it more competitive? NO….

[QUOTE="Kaosed"]no, the controller is for anygame, thats why it has analog sticks  and triggers u knowKakarot00769

this is why FPS is best played on a PC due to controls .FPS w/ a gamepad is a joke ,i want better controls for Halo 3 ..u listening MS

Agree!!! not even a professional soldier can shoot as accurate an a noob fps gamer with a mouse. Bottom line, in a FPS more accurate aiming =/= more fun nor more realistic
