true. but what irks me the most is, for a time that game WAS the 360 for me. just a bit disappointed really. still online in R6 is making slowly forget. like alcohol, but harder to quit.
Hmm. so i sold my copy of dead rising. why? i really dont know. it was one of the games that made me want to get a 360. i loved the concept of it, it reminds me of those games you always dreamed about as a kid. so what went wrong? the game was...just not that fun for me. sure for a while it was great and had its moments, but it felt too forced. the game had a wonderful open environment but you could only go certain places at certain times and do some things when the game told you too. the NPC's were certainly hard to sheperd and the save system was punishing. but, despite all this, i kinda miss it. the colors, action, plot. it was a unique game, very unique. alas, too unique for me, i dont have as much time as i used to so i tend to go towards games that can let me jump in and out quickly. so i traded it in for R6 vegas. yes i know, shame on me. still il admit that iv'e had more fun with vegas than DR, just easier to play. il learn from my mistakes, when mass effect comes out (and bioshock too) il devote more time to em. questions/comments?
lets go way back. for starters, u have to mention Ultima 7 in any 90's game discussion. sprawling epic that set standards for todays RPG's. cant remember a good pc rpg with fun party combat after this until planescape and BG2. also agree on full throttle. that game was the first that made me feel like a part of the story, actually involved in the game world. wing commander series was ace back in the day too, even tho all the FMV seems kitschy now. mechwarrior 2 was totally immersive and still has prob the best OST in any game. could go on and on...
