So a week or so ago i was trying to sell my 360 on craigslist (trade for a wii). Then I got a deal and i unhook my xbox and I remember that i need to pop out a game after its unhooked. so i just plug it back in the power outlet and hit eject. well i got the rrod. however today when i put in the A/V (the cable to the tv) my xbox worked just fine however when i unplugged it my xbox went back to rrod and when i put it back in my xbox just started up normally.
this happen to anyone else or anyone else knows what this means?
[QUOTE="shuffleman102"]PS3
Free online $50/year
Doesn't break (mines broken twice already in less than a year...) 1 month
Blu ray (don't need to buy an extra thing to watch a format above normal DVD) $170 (i think)
Controllers are rechargable (Don't need an extra thing there) $20/controller
Built in wifi (No need to buy an extra there)$100
Built in SD card thing if you care?
Online browser ?
only $50 more expensive than elite but with elite you need to get live, wireless internet adapter, HD movie thing, controller charger, to just about even out with what you get from the ps3 alone.
hamstergeddon
I like how none of those points had anything to do with what consoles are actually for: playing games!

[QUOTE="Zhengi"][QUOTE="PBSnipes"]Its a logistical thing. Imagine if changing your gamertag was free? We would literally have thousands (if not millions) of people changing their GT on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The price is to discourage people from changing their GT.PBSnipes
I like the slippery slope you just used. I mean, people don't have better things to do but to change their gamertags. Why even play the games for the system? Just spend the days/weeks/months/years changing their gamertags.
I assume you weren't here when GS allowed name changes. Back in the day GS allowed users to change their names but removed it because it became so hectic. Imagine how crazy it would get with the millions of XBL users?I don't see why this even matters about gamespot. You can just create a whole new account instead of changing your name ,so it doesnt really matter if you cna change your name on here or not.
