according to the parellel universe theory, there are other universes with you in it. except there are universes which are slightly different than ours. it could be something small like in that universe, you did not soil your pants in 1st grade and everything else is exactly the same. Or it could be something waaay different. like in one of them, you are a result of an Incest family and you will end up murdering morgan freeman while listening to raining blood by nickelback. and then there is the inbetween. so lets say you have an option to blindly switch with yourself in a parellel universe. you will not know which universe you will be in. so its just a random guess. You might end up better than now, or worse then now. well...would you take it and switch with yourself?
you guys are F**king Retarded. Im a waiter and i get payed $2.15 an hour. all my money comes from tips. i dont even get the $2.15 because of taxes. My paychecks are litarily only $10 for 40 hours. Tips are our paychecks. on a good day i leave with $80 or $100 in my wallet for working 8 to 10 hours. thats the same as earning $10 an hour. so yah. Tip your waiters.
does this mean i will be in a different body with a different conciousness? i mean really? what is the difference between me and you. the only thing that makes you is your memories. if i wipe that clean, your conciousness is once again empty. you are not yourself anymore. so then i could be you because you are now a blank slate. but in order for that to happen, i must wipe my memories clean. so we are both just pure conciousness. think about it. conciousness is shaped by memories. once that is erased, me and you become the same conciousness. but the only problem is, time. within less than a second you are you and i am me. but if we were to freeze time so no more memories are made. and we are both clean slates with no recolection of anything, not even ourselves. whats dividing us? nothing. we are one.
