sigothemanny Blog

In this Journal Entry Im going to tell you some stuff about Sigothemanny

My real name is Marcus Petracelli. I was born on June 21,1989 in Brooklyn, New York. My mother is Italian-American and my father is half Jamaican half Sicilain. I currently live in Brooklyn, New York. I cant imagine moving out of New York. I love this City so much and IMO no other city could compare. Los Angeles and Florida comes close though. Any other city couldn’t.

In the 2005-2006 school year I’ll be a senior. I currently attend James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York. After I finish school I want to Direct movies. I plan on Directing Drama, Sports, Romance and Action movies. My movies would be “in your face” type of movies. Just like Martin Scorsese and Spike Lee movies are. For those who don’t know “all in your face” type of movies is movies that show it all. Movies that don’t sugercoat anything. They tell you how it is and isn’t afraid of what people think. For instance GTA is a “all in your face” type of game.

I love watching movies and listening to music. My favorite movie is GoodFellas and my favorite actor is Robert De Niro. At first my favorite actor was Al Al Pacino but when I’ve seen “The Deer Hunter”, “The Godfather Part II”, and “Taxi Driver” I quickly changed. Soon after I started renting ANYTHING that said “Robert De Niro.”. I have seen EVERY Robert De Niro movie and I pratically know everything about him. But I don’t know anything deep because Robert De Niro don’t like telling the public about his personal self and he hates public places and is a VERY shy man. I listen every type of American music but Rap is my favorite. Rap is my favorite genre because they talk about there hard times growing up and they have more Chramisma then any other music artist. Rap pratically have every type of genre within it. Comedy {ludicrous, ODB, etc}, Political {Eminem, Ice Cube, etc}, Gangsta {50 Centa nd G-Unit and a lot of other rappers}, money {Jay-Z and other Rappers}. I also like rap because the lyrics brings chills to your viens. The crisp ryyhmes make you shiver. My favorite Rappers is Biggie, Pac, Jay-Z and Ice Cube. New York has the best rappers. Compare New York rappers lyrics to any other non-New Yorker lyrics and you’ll see a HUGE difference. Todays Rap is kind of boring though. Rappers is trying to ride of the success of 50 Cent. There trying to copy him. At first 50 Cent was original because when he came out he was one of the few POPULAR rappers who talked about violence. Now that everybody seen how much records 50 Cent sold they want to copy him so that they can sell records also. But there is good Rap out there still. Like Kayne West, Common, Mos Def, Black Eyed Peas, Nas and some others.

I'm the new Leader of a Union!

I am currently the new leader of the then known PSP Sport union. But I changed it to the Hollywood Lounge. A Union were you can talk about ANYTHING thats Hollywood related. I invited all my friends and I'm currently inviting my fellow Criminal Inc members.

Worse Summer!!!!!!

This was my worst summer:(. In all my previous summers something always define that summer. Like the music for example. NO good music came out in June, July and August. I didnt go anywhere. I was suppose to go to Puerto Rico with my brother but he canceled it:cry:. I did go to Splish Splash {:D} but thats pratically the only piece of action I got:x. I did the same thing ALL Summer....

  • Wake up at 10am
  • Brush teeth
  • watch Tv
  • Friends come over
  • Talk about the same thing {Girls, music, or clothes}
  • Go outside and ride bikes
  • Look at sexy girls that pass us
  • Eat Chinese food or McDonalds
  • Go back to my house and sit on the steps
  • play basketball
  • Get Ice Cream {the Ice Cream truck always stop at my house at night}
  • Talk about stupid things
  • Friends go home
  • I go take a shower
  • Watch TV in till I fall asleep

I'm not lying either. I do these same activities mostly everyday. And top of that I got school in 2 in a half weeks. Lucky thing I'm a Senior this year. This will be my last year in School8)

Two life Goals

Own a Sports car Show Room- I’ve always been fascinated in Sports cars. That’s why I love it when they show car editions on MTV Cribs. I like how Rappers hook up their sport cars. They always make it look original and exclusive. I wont to own a Show Room were I can make people sport cars look like that. BTW, I’m talking about Vipers and Lambergini type sports cars not NASCAR type. IMO Vipers and such sport cars like those isn’t really interesting if they don’t have any tune ups or an exclusive presence.

Direct movies- Another facination. I’m a huge Drama movie fan. I hardly watch Comedy, Romance, Horror and any other movie genre. I’m going to first write and Direct a TV movie for HBO. Then if my movie get recognition I’m going Direct movies for the big screen. Most of my movies will be filmed in my hometown New York. My favorite Directors are Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, John Singleton, Oliver Stone, Michael Mann, Quintin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, Jim Stone, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood, and Francis Ford. I hope on working with these actors in the future. Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Denzel Washington, Kenan Thompson, Mekhi Phieffer, Morgan Freeman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo Dicaprio, just to name a few.

The Godfather {VG}

Is that the trend these days? To make classic movies into games? There making The Godfather, Dirty Harry, Scarface, Taxi Driver, and probably some more classic movies. I'm looking forward to The Godfather but I hope EA pull it off. I think they can but EA has been making cash-in games lately. Making games just so that they could end up with are hard-earned cash. But by the previews there looking like there working on The Godfather night and day. So it will most likely turn out good. God I hope it do. I'm predicting this game will at least get above 8.0.

The Sopranos

Season 1:

This started it all. season 1 is so great that i got chills up my spine when watching it. i knew there was hope for television programming after this show was shown to me. this is the season that mostly revolves around Tony's mobster activities, while other seasons focused on other things in his life. the finale was one of the strongest and most involving ever, where i saw every person i hated through the whole season go down in 60 minutes. ah brilliant.

Grade: A+

Season 2:

This is the worst entry in the Sopranos series. Each season of the Sopranos seems to have its own voice and each season is completely different from the other, but this one wasn't. this season suffered from being too much like season 1 and ended with a finale that was no where near memorable because of its extremely weak second half. but this brought such great moments as Janice killing Ritchie, P**** finally getting whacked, and Tony's battles with trying to get back into therapy. also, the attempted hit on Christopher which leads to my favorite episode ever, "From Where to Eternity"

Grade: B+

Season 3:

Season 3 is great and much better than 2. it has the episode pine barrens which is a favorite among almost all fans. there is also a greta episode called "employee of the month" that had an emmy worthy performance by Bracco, but was sadly overlooked. Overall great season, and terrific near the end with Jackie Jr. trying to be a mobster yet screwing everything up so badly, then finally getting the bullet to the back of the head in the last episode.

Grade: A

Season 4:

This is another great season, but yet second worst. probably the most underrated season also. i like how David Chase made the transfer from a plot oriented show to a character oriented show. Whitecaps, which is possibly my 2nd favorite episode, is brilliant and still leaves me i nawe when watching it. i loved all the artsy episodes and how al lthe characters seemed to have bigger parts(except paullie). In "Whoever Did This," it was great to see Ralph get the hammer, then that scene i have rewound a million times where Tony walks out of the club at the end of that episode. Wow

Grade: A-

Season 5:

I am pleasantly surprised to say that season 5 is the best season yet. Season 4 suffered from having a great style of character development but having not so good story lines to go with it. Season 5 found the prefect balance between character development and intense plot lines. Some great episodes are Long Term Parking, Unidenified Black Males, All Due Respect, The Test Dream, Two Tonys, and Where's Johnny? overall, spectacular season.

Grade: A+

this is one of the best show on TV. with it concluding with its next season, it will be sad to see it gone, but it has run its course and will go down in my and many other peoples minds as one of the best drama shows to ever hit airwaves.

Just seen "Bonnie and Clyde" Today.

I cant believe I just seen the classic today. I probably seen every overrated classic there is. Anyway, "Bonnie and Clyde" is a real innovative film in the fact that it does contain some extremely violent content. 1967 was a different time in the cinema. This film was one of the first, if not the first, that really showed violence the way it would be in real life. People bleed when they get shot and they die in gruesome fashions. The film itself is the somewhat true story of the infamous bank robbers who terrorized parts of Texas and Oklahoma in the early-1930s before they were finally terminated by the authorities. Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, Gene Hackman, and Michael J. Pollard all received Oscar nominations. Estelle Parsons won one in the Supporting Actress category. Dunaway and Hackman proved to be the finds of the decade and Beatty became the first real star to be an instrumental part in the actual production of the film. Watch for Gene Wilder in a somewhat funny sequence during the course of the action. Unrelenting and overall exceptional, "Bonnie and Clyde" is easily one of the top 10 films of the 1960s and one of the greatest films of all time. 5 stars out of 5.

Offered a job working for my Uncle construction company.

My uncle is offering me a job at his construction company which he claim is going to be a multi-million dollar company in ten years. I want to accept but I'm going to summer school so that I can get extra credits to finish High school early. Not only that I have basketball tournaments, tutoring, and I am going to an Arts and Drama program. But my uncle is paying good money. What to do.. what to do....:roll:
