Another crysis graphics card question.

Okay here's the setup first:

Intel Pentium D930 3.0Ghz Dual Core

Geforce 7600GT 256mb Ram

3GB DDR2 RAm

I can run crysis with high settings on everything BUT shadows and shaders. My fps is 20-25 on average. But I want a new card that can play everything on high. Very high would be nice, but definitly not necessary. If I turn everything on high I get 7-8fps. It looks pretty but its a video game not a slideshow game.

Now this is the card I can get: Geforce 8600GT 512mb ram

http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr86512gtoc2fe.aspx

Also I must point out I play at 1280x1024, that's the max my monitor will go, and I do not plan on getting a monitor that can go higher.

Also I'm getting a 64bit version of windows vista to see if it helps as my processor is 64bit, and I also overclocked my processor to 3.4Ghz, and trying to get to 3.6-4Ghz.

Think this card will get what I want or should I wait?

Let's say crysis on very high in direct x 10 does become the best that can be achieved in all games. Now that's pretty good, but there's lots to improve on like, physics, like I blow up a side of a mountain, it causes an avalanche. etc. Having an interactive enviroment, better AI, and if all games can come to this standard. Imagine playing WoW, Soul Caliber, GTA, etc with those graphics, physics, AI, and whatever else crysis has got, in those games.

I know that they'll make graphics even better one day, but still this level of achievement isn't something to laugh at.

Also, I was looking into my processor, and its a pentium d 930 editon or whatever, but anyways, it says its very easy to overclock, and can be OC'd to a very high clock speed. Is it true, and think I should do it.

BTW, my processor's temputure while playing games is 30-35 C.

The 9250? Well if it's better I guess I'll have to learn ATI cards for my bro, I have much more experience with Nvidia, but I want the best pci card he can get.

Wow, maybe I should check my fps, cause I know it's not super smooth, but not real choppy either. Still thanks, and I'll think I will wait, but for my bro, he can't wait anymore. I need to upgrade his computer for real cheap, only 300 budget for him. Next year my budget is unlimited.

Usually if you have nvidia, they have software that will monitor the cpu and gpu... Then again I have a nvidia motheboard too, but ram i wouldn't worry about, unless your overclocking it.

Okay, well my geforce 7600gt does play it on medium, and for question two he is playing wow at around 10-15 fps lol.

But yeah, I'm planning on upgrading my pc in 2008 for sure. And I'm getting quad core too, think it'll help the performance?

Should I jsut hold out on a graphics card till 2008?

Okay I just bought Crysis today, and am about to try it, and it looked okay on the sp demo, but I want it to look even better.

Here's my specs:

Intel Pentium D 3.0Ghz Dual Core

3GB ddr2 Ram

Geforce 7600GT 256mb Ram

by the way the computer's 3Dmark06 score is 3152 if that helps.

Now This is the card I want:

http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr86512gtoc2fe.aspx

It's for 230 plus tax (canadian) at my local staples. Is it worth 230 and can it play crysis, plus future games at very high settings or high at least. I'm willing to get something else, but I'd rather not spend more then 350.

QUESTION 2

This is for my brothers computer:

He has a Geforce 5200 PCI, and I was thinking of him getting a Geforce 6200 PCI, for 150 bucks, is it worth 150 and how much performance does he get, all he plays is WoW and I feel bad for him when this is his favourite game, and he can't play it properly, it looks horrible. His specs are:

Geforce 5200 256mb ram

Intel celeron or centron 2.6Ghz (it's a desktop btw, I can't remember the exact name)

1GB of ddr ram

-Worth getting a 6200 or should he get ram, that's his only 2 options for his computer.

PLEASE HELP ME please, I will thank you forever

Don't come to our city, we make the stereotypes. They do spit in your food, and do gross things like not wash the dishes your served with etc. I have seen it done, and don't try arguing with the supervisor if you see it, cause there the same age and close friends.

All the health agency does is fire the managers, but it still happens.
