My homeroom teacher giving his english class (I think) a musical treat

Wow, when u described it, sounds like verry scarry. but no, btw, ur ethier billy or other comp geeks on sths. During Lock-downs, I hear few crying, mostly laughters, i see a little bit blood, but mostly smiles. they knew it was real where i was locked down at, because its Mr. Corbins room, and its next to the room where it got shot. people went at mr cornbins room. Daniel was the only one injured as far as i know at mr. corbins room, oh and chelsea bump. but people there were having Tons of FUN!!

after that, media was really getting annoying. Chad apologized before everything started. The end, 3 days later, reporters are still there.

Heres what happen, Before everything started, Chad. 15 yrs old told everyone this, this includs violet and jeff as far as i know. but he told many people what he was going to do. He had a reason, his reason of doing this was to get expelled because he wanted to go to diff school, parents wont let him unless if his expelled. appearantly, his stupid, not realizing the trouble he would caus. He told everyone his sorry if they get hurt, mostly everyone. No body believe him, NOT A SINGLE PERSON!! then few days later he did what he said. People that he told were having a "regret" problem. specially Violet, shes freaking out, cuz she didnt tell anyone, besides, if she did [or anyone did]. people still wouldnt believe them. well, mostly everyone was on the news since the school has few students. 170. but sometimes, they cross the line and cant stop getting annoying. Chad was known as a good soccer player at lunch. Thats the only reason why i know him. He would have shot Oscar too since they were gonna fight at that day. luckily, Oscar was at Califronia at that time.

 

Oh, he was aiming for Mr. Lurrie and I think its Ms. Ross or Mr. Loomie.  dunno. or Mrs. G. but he missed pretty bad, he was aiming at certain teacher cuz Chad is failing their class and called his parents

From what I've heard, it depends on who's class you were in.  I was in Loomis and G, Loomis was trying to do what Corbin did, make something fun to do, but people were flippen out in that room.  Made it that much more scary.  And tons of other things in that was happening in that room just made it so much worse.

And his targets were Lurie and Lucus, he was mad at Lurie for calling his parents and Lucus for being mean to him and his friends.  Also, I suggest you read PsychoGreyWolf6's topic on it, you should know who that is

So here's the whole story so far:

Chad Escobedo was angry with his mother and step-dad because they refused to let him live with his father in Eastern Oregon.  He was also angry at two teachers, one messaging his parents about how he is failing in school, another because she was mean to the students.  So, on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 Chad brought a .270 Winchester rifle to school and hid it in the field pictured

He went around school with a bullet vaguely telling his friends what he was going to do, saying things like "The schools going into lockdown today"and expressing anger twords certian teachers and students.  Then after lunch he didn't come back inside, insted he walked over to where he had hidden the gun and waited.  Finally he aimed and shot at the school twice, hitting two windows.


When the school went into lockdown, he either heard the alarm from the school or the sirens and his reality hit him.  He droped the gun and ran back home.  On his way he called his parnets and a friend saying that he had done it.  An hour after the shooting Chad was arrested at his home.  Back at school, glass shards had imbeded themselves into students and walls, injuring 10, 2 needed to go to the hospital.



Then later the SWAT team showed up, bomb squad, and every officer in the city of Gresham.  We were in lockdown for 3 hours until finally being reliesed.  He is charged with two counts of attempted aggravated murder along with two counts of assault and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.

Hell of a day.  PICS WERE TAKEN THE DAY AFTER THE SHOOTING, NOT THE SAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Not trying to steal this thread from Psycho, but Chad hid a .270 hunting rifle in the field of tall grass across the street from the school, and nobody was seriously injured, just some glass cuts, but one student needs surgery to remove a piece of glass lodged in her wrist

I think I knew who posted that. I if it's who i'm thinking, then he is really annoying. Damn chad... why did he have to do it. i have to goto court now and tell them what I know. I'm nervous.PsychoGrayWolf6

 First of all, I'm sorry I'm annoying, been working on fixing that.  And yea, I can't believe Chad did it, but you need to stop beating your self up.  I knew, you knew, Twitchie knew, Violet knew just to name a few.  The police aren't looking for you-well, actually that's a lie, they have been interviewing everyone that was in contact with him that day, and they need to interview you-but still, they already know everything that happened, every aspect.  Even if someone had spoke, it still would of happened, just later.  Also, it could of been a lot worse.  He had 2 cases of bullets, but when he either heard the sirens or the lock down alarm, reality hit him and he then knew what he was doing, and ran.  Really, I've been upset too, he was a really good kid.  Also, most of the thing he did, he got the info from me, when I did that speech about shooting in Mr. Leach's room.  He followed it almost to a T, bring the weapon before hand and stash it, showing evidence that he will do it, almost crying for help, where he hid he even took form me!   Everyone at school has been freaked, still crying.  You should of came today, you would of learned the truth, not the BS the news is pumping to the public.

Turns out he was aiming of Mr. Loomis and Mr. Lurie, so both of us, and everyone else in the room, are extremely lucky that he miss aimed, otherwise this story would be drastically different.  People have been saying that by the morning that the shooting happened, he already had it so far implanted into his head that nothing was going to stop him at that point.  I mean, it could of been so much worse if he didn't realise what he was doing and stopped.  I want him to be remembered for who he was, don't let this define him.  I'm not saying what he did wasn't bad, it was horrible, but even the nicest people are still capable of horrible acts.  Anyway, Psycho, don't let this destroy you, it's not your fault.  No matter how much you think it, it couldn't be stopped.  Don't be like me, I haven't slept in 32 hours.

 On another note, sorry public about my thread about this, my adrenaline was running and I was in self-defense mode, so if I came off as a jerk or self centered, I'm sorry.  And one last thing Psycho, Twitchie missed you

EDIT: just read part of the court room doucuments and he said that "She was mean to students" so the potential targets could of been Mr. Loomis or Mr. Lurie, and one of our female teachers, 5 options there.  Why?  He was such a nice person

Ironically, last week I did a speech on how to prevent school shootings.  Apparently I didn't get my message across, saying he is in that class with me.
