Hi, I'm on student government, and I'm supposed to get suggestions for improvements to any school in general from anybody (not just people at my school). Thanks.

OP seems to be one of them elitist jerks. But I will answer the topic anyhow. If you want something along the lines of Maiden you should go for Judas Priest. Another British Heavy Metal influenced band I'd recommend is Mercyful Fate. Along with King Diamond. Their music is essentially the same, King Diamond just went on a solo career with.. King Diamond. Good albums to check out are Don't Break The Oath - Mercyful Fate and Abigail - King Diamond. I also have a tender love for The Eye - King Diamond, but I know that some people don't like this one. It's got Chambre Ardente on it though, which has one of the evilest riffs in this world. But if you tell us a bit more specifically what you're looking for we'll be able to help more. Do you listen to mostly British Heavy Metal, or would you like some death, black, power, symphonic, viking, progressive, folk metal? More specification = More answers. Oh and I don't care if you like black metal or not, you want to listen to Mayhem. Just F.Y.I.Vfanek

3/4 of the people on GS are elitists.

And yeah, mostly British heavy metal.

[QUOTE="DivergeUnify"]I don't exactly like them a lot, but Disturbed will get you into hard rock/get your feet wet from metal and you can expand from thereMatt-4542

disturbed is horrible...

Like I said, if you're trying to get into metal and hardrock, they'll do that. If you're going to be an ass, don't ask for a reccomendation

sir, kindly gtfo, and take disturbed with you

Why dont you take your own advice and shove it.

If youre going to come in and ask for recommendations, then dont be an ass about it. The users arent going to stand for it.

I was asking for HARD ROCK AND METAL recommendations, not "oh we are teh roxx0rz" crap music.

You asked for these -- recommendations! You never specifically said what bands, so how the -- are we supposed to know? Youre a waste

says the guy with a friggin emo kid avvy

 You dont have a statement to counter what I posted, so you attack my avatar? LAME. Youre so intelligent

Alright man, I'm sorry for being a jerk, but I just hate Disturbed.

Dream Theater.

And yes, Disturbed is horrible. Their first CD, "The Sickness" was pretty effing good, but then they re-released it and called it "Believe", then they tried their luck and put it out again, but it was titled "10,000 Fists", and then, they took a couple years off, only to re-release the same album once more, with the word "Indestructible" on it.septemberluc

What Dream Theater album do you recommend? And what you said made me lol

Greatgone12

You ask for **** music, you're going to get **** music.

I would defend your right to an opinion (and to bash the opinions of others), but you asked for **** music, so it was your fault.

You don't like metal, I don't have anything against you, but don't start flaming me too.
