@LtReviews I think I understand what you're saying. What I'm confused about is if Square originally made the game (at least while they were Squaresoft), why does the Open Source have to do with them? They have a right to do whatever they want to FF3.

Interesting. It would be nice to get CFOs and such with fantastic financial experience and a love for games. Perhaps that would help change the current model for trying to get money. Maybe they could earn more money with consistent quality games than aiming for that smash hit.

I wonder why they chose Final Fantasy 3. I'm not insinuating it was a bad game I only wonder why. It seems random. Out of ALL the games out there, they chose FF3 as one of them.
