Lesson learned. I just recently got into PC gaming fully. I have always wanted to get a good Gaming PC but it was way to expensive for my current situation. Finally raised enough money to buy my current rig at a steal price. Its slowing becoming more costly as time goes on though haha.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the price haha. I didn't know PSUs were so damn expensive. Alright well thank you very much it looks like exactly what I need. One last thing, is hooking that badboy up going to take hours or is it reasonably simple?

But the black end is going into the video card itself. And I can't find enough wires to hook into all four of the white ends.

Hey guys, I am not the most advanced computer hardware expert in the world so I'm a bit confused with my current situation. I have this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229285Rcomputer, and I bought this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130750video card to go with it. Problem is, the video card has two six-pin power adapters each with two four pin things attached to it. Looks like this:

As I said, the card requires two of those to be hooked up. Thing is, I can only really find one free power connector when I need 4 by the looks of it. The instructions say I need 2 6-pin PCI-Express power plugs from the power unit OR four 4-pin power plugs. I am not even exactly sure what a 6-pin power plug looks like, or wether it is coming from my power unit or not. I could only find one wire that can hook into one of the 4-pinned white things coming off of the wire pictured above. I tried running the card without anything hooked up and got a blank screen. If required, I can try to put up some pics of the inside of my rig. Can anyone help me out here?

500 bucks. youve got room to omprove on the formula and you DOMINATED anything you could hope to do with your current machine.

sell the old hd 6670 the pre-built comes with for $50

That CPU is insanely old, so I'm not sure it would be worth upgrading.

Well thats what I thought as well, but as far as I'm aware, I'm not gonna get a PC that can run most new games on high smoothly for 500-600 bucks. I'm right about that arn't I?
