The Playstation 3 does not come with a headset. You have to buy a Bluetooth headset separately which is alright since it may work for your phone as well. You can on the other hand buy a wireless mic for the Xbox 360.
The slot on the PS3 is better in my opinion. The tray for the Xbox 360 seem very cheap although it has held up for me for a year now.
It is pretty cool that PS3 can use any hard drive. It's not because of the technology though. The main reason the Xbox 360 cannot use a regular hard drive is for marketing and marketing only.
Xbox 360 does have built in wireless controllers that transmit data via infared and PS3 uses blutooth, but I think you mean wi-fi. It is very convinient to have built in wi-fi for PS3.
The reason I bought a PS3 after I got my 360 was mainly for the Blu-Ray functionality. But Blu-ray is owned by Sony so I don't think Microsoft will have it until the next generation of gaming consoles which is right around the corner.
Did you know the PS3 doesn't have memory sluts? So inconvenient.
The power brick is very big and hot I agree.
The interface is personal choice. Although I do agree with you the PS3 has a much nicer interface than the Xbox 360's. But before the end of the year the interface will hace a major facelift making much more sleek like the PS3's.
The later models of Xbox 360s do have HDMI sluts so in order to get it, you would have to trade it in.
The grafics are supposed to be cartoony on some of the games. The truth is the 360 has more power than the PS3. I forgot where I read it, but the author of the article did a detailed breakdown of the different computing parts and proved that the Xbox had more power than the PS3. Also if you look at the graphical comparisons made my gamespot, Xbox comes out on top on all three.
In conclusion, the PS3 is a more complete package and it is more universal, but you could probably get all that extra stuff for the Xbox for about the same price. And also the the Xbox plays the games much better than the PS3. You make the choice they both have their pros and cons.
