Egypt does sound cool, but what about the Mayan temples.

Well thanks for clearing things up. Now I know i'm not a real fan until I root for all NY teams.

So, would it be ok if I became a Jets and Knicks fan? I wouldn't become a Giants fan because they just won the SB and I don't want to be considered a bandwagoner.

Sounds good to me. You're well on your way to becoming a respectable fan.

However, I just want to clear one thing up. Do people in NY just randomly pick which NY team is their favorite? I thought it was by region. If it is by regoin, then you should follow the team that is closest to where you live.

I live in Nassau. From what i've heard, Nassau and Suffolk residents should be Jets fans, the five boroughs are for the Giants.

If I watched hockey (I would, just never know when its on) then Islanders are more for Nassau and Suffolk, Rangers are for the boroughs.

You serious, your just going to switch teams just like that. If you were really a true fan of the 76ers and the Eagles, you would stick with them. A true fan doesn't mean you have to like your hometown teams. If those 2 teams were the first teams you watched and liked you should stick with them.

I live in New York, but I'm a Lakers fan. I love the Lakers and they are on the other side if the country. My friend was the reason I got into basketball and he was a Lakers fan. Don't even call me a bandwagon fan or a front-runner b/c I started to watch basketball the season after Shaq got traded(the year they sucked and didn't make the playoffs).

D. Wade never competed on those two. Maybe you meant Skills Challenge.xoxINSOMNIACxox

I think they also gave a couple of PS3s to a couple of other NBA stars last year during the All-Star Game weekend.

Since the Celtics got KG in the summer I have been saying that the Celtics will meet the Lakers in the finals just cause of the ref drama.balindos

Yeah the Lakers vs the Celts would definitely be pretty epic.

This was the best thing that could have happened to the Lakers. Kobe won't be asking for a trade anymore and he most likely won't opt out of his contract next year. The Lakers also got rid of Kwame Brown. Although it sucks we lost "Jarbis", but we didn't need Javaris with Fisher and Farmar. I think Kobe will stay a Laker for the rest of his career. Hats off to Mitch Kupchek and Jerry Buss.

Remember Tiki Barber's comments about Eli Manning early in the season? Should Giants fans be thanking him for challenging Eli Manning? He has definitely played a lot better this season than past seasons with Tiki around. So do you think we should be thanking him for the Giants' success?

I also heard the Lakers are going after Chris Webber. Hopefully that'll help with Bynum down. I really hope we do get him, I really can't trust Kwame as the starting center. And I don't want to see Kobe taking 40+ shots a night with Bynum down.
