I have been a longtime Gametrailers fan, but i started to notice a decline in the website after they got rid of Invisible Walls and Shane and Marcus left. Also, their commercials became more and more invasive, repetitious and downright disrespectful. I can understand running ad's before every video, but they were sometimes breaking up features into 3 parts (when it used to be one) and separating each part with a commercial (sometimes the same commercial every time). I refused to download adblock out of respect for the people who wrote and worked for gametrailers but it was clear that whoever was running the site just didn't give a ****. It doesn't surprise me that they sold out.

I'm surprise there are barely anyone in this forumn talking about this game.  I watched the 20 min gameplay footage an it looks like the total package.  The graphics are beautiful, ai is smart, a good attention to detail and creative scenarios with a combination of stealth and shooting.  It basically looks like a more fun deus ex/metal gear hybrid with a new coat of paint taboot

Because of the economy we're not getting the new consoles when we should be. Instead, people are happy to have Sony and Microsoft milk this gen for all that its worth due to the increibly large installed base. I understand that the graphics are still pretty, but have you stopped to imagine how much better of an experience games could be with new hardware? Its unfortunate that we're not getting the technology that we deserve. 2014 and possibly even 2015 is a long time to wait considering how long these consoles have been around for.

Not even mentionling the lack of new technology lets look at the current state of affairs. The last big release was mass effect, I can't think of anything great prior to that unless I go back to november of last year. All I see on the horizon is 'the witcher' and 'max payne' in may. Beyond that it doesn't look like we're getting Bioshock an Halo until the end the year.

I could understand this lack of games if the new consoles were getting announced and shown at this years e3 and devs were beginning work on the first batch of games. There is no good excuse though, for the lack of exciting titles this year. This is an industry that makes billions but only delivers in spurts, unlike the movie business that continually pumps out quality movies on a regular basis.

with all the great releases happening now i'm excited to be a gamer again. Looking back on this gen here is a list of some of my fav games. I'm a graphics junky so I like discussions of best graphics too.

in no order

gears 3-imo the best series of this gen. While the single player got repetitive they perfected the online and i think its better than any fps on the market because of how you can move thoughout cover. I also think its probably tied with uncharted in the graphics department. The lighting has been stepped up for this game and its just a gorgeous game w/a unique art style

uncharted-can't wait for the new one its done 'like your playing a movie' better than any game even though its stolen so many gameplay ideas its a great package

metal gear 4-its metal gear one of the most innovative franchises ever. not the best in terms of technical prowess - could have had more effects and better textures but its art style is great

god of war3-almost 20 months old and its graphics are probably top 5-10. Production to the max really added to the adrenaline rush of playing this game unfortunately it was too repetitive. A common theme amongst all games these days

halo reach-beautiful game but same tried and true formula which, if you played halo since the first one you're probably a bit tired of like me

batman-very unique ..great use of unreal 3 engine. polished

assasins creed-one of the most innovative game this gen a bit light in the technical department graphically but it did something new and succeeded

call of duty-yes i know but its a great game ..compared with the new battlefield i hate to say it but its better on consoles at least

skyrim looks gorgeous

killzone-i think killzone 3 was at the time the best looking game to date. It may still be on cosole..its right up there with gears and uncharted. They also really improved the gameplay from 2 to 3. Single player suffers from fate of all fps's too repetitive

don't know what else to say really some other good games tha i just wasn't that into are : gta, red dead, la noire

What do you guys think?

either terrible or really difficult ..i'm leaning towards terrible though as the controls didn't feel intuitive at all and the control over my hovercraft was very awkward ..graphics are sick though
