I can remember when PS4 and Xbox1 be for they released that a lot of devs said they didn't want it yet. Probably because they knew how crap they are really.

Steam is only doing well because its forced on us and been round longer. If I had the choice I would prefer the old way and install using dvd with out any 3rd party gaming clients.
