Myspace Music

I am not a big fan of myspace. Yes i have a profile by the same name as here. But anywho, for some reason i am a magnet for new musicians. My music taste is lost in the 50's thru early 90's, but i have been getting requests from some excellent sounding bands who have been giving me renewed faith that rock is not lost. So i have decided to make a list of some of the bands who have brought back my love of music.

Francis Soto: This guy is amazing, Very excellent sound. Remake of "Sunglasses At Night" is pure rock. I have his link in my sig, he is a nice guy from the chats we've had.

Bury the Bully: Rocks, excellent lyrical music, their song "For Only Me To Know" magical sound.

Simple Plan: A mix of rock and pop punk but could be mainstream. " When I'm Gone" classic, all in all a good sounding band.

ChiasmusX: Soft alternative music, very mellow sound from the female lead.

Berlin Drop: progressive metal band from just north of me, nice hard sound to them.

Electric Colony: New wave with an edge, "About Time" excellent instrumental.

Heavens Dust: Japanese Metal band, female lead, very nice sound.

Revolution Red: Hometown band here, has a sweet edge sound to them

So if you have a profile there, give these people a try and see what you think. If you like them, support them by saying thanks for the music.

The Big "30" Wicked sick

The skill level after GOD-LIKE in Unreal Tournament, only achievable by a true champ of the game.

Unreal Tournament, abbreviated UT, (sometimes referred to as UT99, UT Classic, UT1, or UT:GOTY to differentiate from Unreal Tournament 2003, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament 3) is a popular first-person shooter video game. It is Epic Games' 1999 follow-up title to Unreal and focuses mainly on multiplayer action. It was launched in direct competition to id Software's Quake III Arena which was released ten days later. Although Quake III Arena was considered to have better graphics, streamlined gameplay and a widely adopted engine, UT had superior bot AI, "alternate fire" for weapons which introduced a further element of strategy, and a larger variety of multiplayer capabilities.

As with the original Unreal, the ease with which players can create and release mods to the core game is a key factor contributing to UT's longevity. UT improved upon the mod-friendly nature of its predecessor with support for mutators such as Sniper Arena, Instagib, BunnyTracks, MonsterHunt, Jailbreak and more. Further, UT clans, or gaming teams, and a score of UT dedicated clan and fan community sites continue to sustain Unreal Tournament's popularity years after its initial release

*New Job Part 2* Updated

OMFG !!!! you never know what you have till it's gone. I started the new job with a 12 hour shift. and all i have to say is "Wholly carpal tunnel syndrome Batman". Never let it be said there are no sweat shops in the USofA. Bad part is, it felt good to do a hard days work. My wrists are swollen, my back hurts, i have blisters on my toes, i got off a little after 4am, and it was fun. Well going to bed now, hopefully will be able to move when i wake up, got to shop for some tylenol and doans pills for my back ;)

** I box product for shipping to grocery stores. It's not heavy work, but fast and repetitive. very hard on the wrists. If you have never done it before and you do it for 12 hours it hurts like hell. Hopefully it don't take long to get use to, because they work 7 days a week for 3 weeks or so then work another 12 hour shift for a weekend off. **

* New Job *

Found a new job already. Very Happy, but apprehensive. When the interviewers try and scare you off, means there is something wrong with it. So far the only bad thing they said, was 7 day work week, $ 9.00 an hour, but will make good money and they said since the turn over rate is so high, it's easy to bid on jobs and get raises. Got the 4pm till midnight shift, so thats not too bad. I'm use to that. Kind of helped that i met a lady i went to school with there, she was one of the interviewers. Well wish me luck.

*Rant warning* Today i was fired for doing my job!!

I was pulling an aircraft out of the hanger so i could fuel them, when my former boss walks up and asks where my wing walkers were, i said they were busy with other things, he gave me the speech about the use of wing-walkers so we don't damage an aircraft, (even though i have been doing it for over 11 years in that place, plus he has seen me do it by myself before) then he said let me have your building keys, so i hand them to him, and here i sit. Basically as one person i know put it, i was making too much money for him to afford and decided that was a better reason than any to get rid of me. He has to save his money so he buy a new plane for "company use". So now the fun begins. Looking for a job after 11 1/2 years. Hopefully it won't take long. But in all actuality i am somewhat relieved, that place has gone down hill for some years now, and with all his Jesus stuff he does there ( no offense intended, but should be kept out of the workplace) prayer meetings, bible study, bibles laying all over the building, like i said it should be kept out of the workplace. But anyway it's all for the best, just a rat leaving a sinking ship.

Leveled Up, Radiant Silvergun

Radiant Silvergun (レイディアント シルバーガン, Reideianto Shirubagan?) is a vertically scrolling shooter video game, developed by Treasure Co. Ltd. It was released in arcades on the ST-V platform in 1998 and subsequently ported to the Sega Saturn, with added cutscenes by noted animation studio GONZO. The game was not released outside of Japan.

The game is considered by many to be the pinnacle of the 'maximalist' school of vertical shooter design. (Contrast this with Ikaruga's studied minimalism.) It features a unique and innovative weapons system, with seven weapons available at any time. The player has three buttons to control the weapons; the weapon fired depends on the combination of buttons pressed. According to producer Hiroshi Iuchi, the main inspiration for the game's design was Image Fight, an arcade game by Irem from 1988.
