I own a 360, PS3, and PC. Mostly game on PC, but I play the consoles for exclusives. . 1. Bungie In my opinion, Bungie has the best community support of ANY developer. They are one of the few consoles devs who even listen to their fans. I don't think anyone knows just how much care they put into it. They are constantly doing community events, prizes, and updates. My favorite part of the company is their amazing humor though haha. I mean they are even giving away steaks for beating them in Halo lol. I just wish all console devs treated fans as good as them. Maybe them starting as a pc/ mac dev in the early days stuck with them thankfully. I have played their games early on. Starting with Marathon, Myth, and my favorite series now, Halo. They are my favorite developer. Hopefully 343i can do them proud. . 2. Valve . Valve has outstanding community support as well. For Valve, the great management of updates to CS and TF2, and listening us fans of those games communities. Then comes Steam, the greatest thing about PC gaming. Great community support there. One of the the reasons I hate Valve though is I am always broke thanks to Steam lol. Also one of the few devs have mac support for their games. . 2. Blizzard I mean come on, Diablo and Starcraft. I put hours into these games. The support for these communities are also fantastic. World of Warcraft as well. What can I say? What are your top devs for community support?

The 360's framebuffer isn't large enough to fit any higher resolution the 720 in one pass. The ps3 uses its RAM as framebuffer. That simple. Also reason why you see more 1080p games on ps3, though with lower res textures and no AA.trasherhead
But the 360 has 1080p games like Perfect Dark, Boogie Bunnies, and Virtua Tennis 3. If they can run GAMES in 1080p, I don't see how they can't run a freakin dashboard in 1080p

Why is this? Surely just making the menu for the system 1080p isn't hard. Why does the 360 only render the dashboard in 720p yet the Ps3 is in native 1080p? The text is a lot sharper on my 50" HDTV using the ps3. Why does MS refuse to update the dashboard to 1080p? They can easily do it.
