I thought it was lame as well. nothing just really wowed me. Both halos were known about before the conference (thx to a leak before the show in the case of halo 4), and even then the Halo 4 trailer had a very Dead Space feel. gears 3 has been circulating for far too long imo to generate any substantial hype. I've never been a fan of fable, and this new spin-off (i think) looked horrible to me. Forza was cool, but im not a racing fan.
Tomb Raider looked excellent, but my hype was lessened a little because of the huge Uncharted vibe i got. don't get me wrong. it was still awesome, but it felt more uncharted than tomb raider. Still, probably the highlight of the show for me (even though Lara's groans were getting annoying)
I've lost all faith in Star Wars Kinect. The kinect features on display for that game (and the whole show in general) were very off, and there was a considerable amount of time between the players actions and the on-screen actions. it also just looked boring as hell.
Most of the other Kinect stuff I've pretty much experienced with my Wii, so I've seen it all and done it all. nothing stood out, and it was very lackluster.
Things I did like were the MW3 demo, even though its more of the same. The voice commands for ME3 were really cool, as well as the gun smith from Ghost recon, but they never felt like true gameplay advances, and felt more like shiny alternatives to my controller.
As far as Live goes, they are once again very nice features, but I already have cable and all that. once again, it just felt like another option, and not something i just had to have.
I'd give the conference a C. very mediocre in my opinion, with a few highlights, yet nothing whatsoever that stood out as amazing.
