@phoenix1289 @demondogx Indeed and demodogx if you care about the costs so much you need to shop the internet, you could've (I did) get the game and season pass (even before launch) for $62 totoal.
@grin89 @Lhomity Can you please tell me what Season Pass DLC you are referring to (that includes all extras) for a game? I keep reading people saying they've learned to think of Season Pass as meaning all extra content so I'm curious what game(s) those were as I've never experienced that and I've bought a lot (too many) games. The first time I recall seeing a Season Pass for a game was Saints Row The Third and it clearly stated what it would include and it was obvious it wasn't everything (and it was far from it). Then I saw Season Pass with BL2 and it said it would include 4 DLC for the price of 3 (I never thought that was anything close to a guarantee that they'd only make 4 DLC). Then lastly with Defiance which was worded same as BL2 where I don't expect to get extra DLC beyond what was offered.
@Ramus73 @slowram Thank you for the article link, I had read same content elsewhere. I guess we have a different definition of hacked/cracked resulting in financial harm. The guy in the article was playing a paid version and could only go offline for a few minutes and worse couldn't save content offline. I thought you were saying the DRM didn't work that the game was pirated. Not that the DRM didn't work you could play offline (but not save) if you bought the game.
@mboettcher Very true, I've been pleasantly surprised with the diversity of the DLC. Also was very surprised with the amount of content in BL2 at release before any DLC. Felt as large a game to me as BL1 GOTY with all the DLC included.
@SilentAssassin @ScreamDream HA I was thinking same thing but of course DLC bundle pack could be misunderstood to meaning bundle of all DLC. It's just that much more difficult when people don't read (more than the title of) what they're purchasing.
@mboettcher @ScreamDream Yeah I can agree with that (bad name) should've been called DLC Bundle. Course then people would be upset that DLC Bundle didn't include all DLC even though it stated it would only include 4. Maybe it should've been called 4 DLC Bundle.
@DETfaninATL One nice thing with the season pass, if you get it, is you don't have to play the same content with a new character. Much of the content can be played via the new DLC, though sadly it does require replaying some parts. Only DLC I've played much of so far is the Pirate one and I've been going thru that mostly with Gaige.
@SilentAssassin @Overeduk8ed Actually BL2 DLC is great if you enjoy BL. Also it can be gotten cheap, I got it for $22.50 before release and probably could find it cheaper now. I think $22.50 (or even the retail $30) is a fair price for the 4 dlc + ultimate upgrade pack. That is of course assuming the 4th dlc is as good as the past 3 have been. If you don't enjoy BL then of course DLC is a waste.
@grbolivar It's a very rare game (unless it's Activision) that you can't find at a decent discount even before it's released. I got BL2 on GMG for $40 pre-release so I got Mechromancer for free. Suggesting people who care about costs pay retail is folly.
