Don't get me wrong, I love the Elder Scrolls, but Oblivion would suck on the Wii.

Super Metroid and majora's Mask. I get the feeling we'll be knowing when either of those are coming out ahead of time though.

I have 1100 points leftover after getting all the games I really wanted from the VC. Now I'm trying to decide between these two titles because I can't wait for Super Metroid.

 There are no "levels" whatsoever in Metroid Prime. At the end of the game you can go back to anywhere you've been so far on the planet.

Also, it's not a first person shooter. The controls and gameplay are not really like an FPS. The gameplay is almost somewhere in between Elder Scrolls and Halo. The conrols are not like either.

SNES. The N64 had an amazing controller for its time, and the Gamecube has the best graphics of the three, but the SNES games that Nintendo developed are timeless.

[QUOTE="md152"]actually it is 250 (system) + 80 ( 2 remotes) + 40 (nunchucks) + 50 (Zelda) + 50 (Super Monkey Ball) + 25 (Product Replacement Plan) = $495 that sounds like a great deal

One remote and nunchuck comes with the console at the $250 retail price. However, the replacement plan was 40 for the Wii (or so the guy tells me). And given the 9 percent sales tax here, I'm getting the whole package for slightly less than the retail price for it all being new. Maybe 10% less or so. A good deal considering I can't find one in stores.

Halo: CE, and Panzer Drogoon Orta. The only other 2 games I own are Halo 2 and Morrowing GOTY. And I'm forever done with those.

Ok, I'm getting it. Tonight at 7, when I get off of work, I'll be the proud owner of a Wii. I kinda wish I was getting Waroware instead of Super Monkey Ball, but I loved Monkey Ball 2 on the GC, so I'm sure I'll have fun with it.

I can't find a Wii anywhere in Chicago so I'm resorting to craigslist. Normally I woulnd't do this but the console I'm thinking of buying comes with a one year replacement plan from Gamestop.

The package is as follows: 1 Wii, 2 controllers, 2 nunchucks, Zelda TP, Super Monkey Ball BB, Wii Sports, and the replacement plan for $450.

The console is used but "like new". Should I go for it?
