This idea seems to be Nintendo's way of migrating everyone into an updated controller. We all know that nintendo should've provided this with their controller. Wii Sports Resort will sell alot MotionPlus. But in the future, I think Nintendo wants to provide new controllers built in with MotionPlus. But of course since millions of early adopters and their grandmas have a ton of Wiimotes sitting around, Nintendo doesn't want to alienate their new base of buyers and force everyone to buy brand new controllers...instead they will create extensions for their current ones and in the near future provide the new controllers for new adopters for the wii.
You know what? The quality of the game's graphics are dependent on how much quality development goes in to each platform. I own most systems (PC too) so I buy the games that show off each system. We're at the point now where developers know both systems well enough to make a game shine. Unfortunately, some developers don't put the time and resources to make the game graphically consistent on both systems. Instead, they will concentrate on the platform with a larger base of gamers. If the company decides that it will take 5 artists and developers and 2 weeks to make shadows nicer (or textures crisper) on the PS3, they would say no and concentrate on other important aspects of the game that need more attention.
What's with all these trolls? I'm a 360 OWNER BUT why can't certain 360 owners just accept life and let PC gamers be PC gamers. This is a hardware guide FOR PEOPLE WHO OWN PCs. It's simple. So why am I here? I'm buying COD4 for my PC. =)
Considering that DX10 doesn't have many games supporting it just yet...it is still relatively new to developers, it seems like Crytek optimized Crysis for DX9. I would assume that Crytek just wanted to get the game to work on DX10 just to say that it supports it. If the developers supported only DX10 from the get-go I think this would be a different story.
Just because your video card sucks doesn't mean you didn't learn anything. Either way, I think most people reading this article are PC heads and and the article is geared more towards beginners.
How the hell does anyone know there are "too many bugs" when they haven't even phreakin used it themselves. I bought a copy yesterday and it works fine with ALL of my games.
How can anyone hate football? Crazy. Anyhow, Gore was nuts. Vernon is still shaking out the little rookie mistakes. Whatever happened to Manny Lawson? Why isn't Bush listed in here? Brady Quinn? Umm...he's still /w NotreDame and he hasn't announced he'll turn pro...and more importantly...he still needs to be DRAFTED on the phreaking 9ers...which is a huge "IF" in itself. Gamespot needs to stick with games or at least how this list affects Madden 07.
Holy Crap! You can expect to see Ebay sell these bad boys up to $1500 or even $2000. Maybe more if those are actual numbers. My wife and I will be in line (different stores) to get one reserved.
Why are there console-only gamers here? This is BETA...which means..."thanks for testing out our unfinished product....to help out with our finshed product!" I'm hoping that the DOS emulators will still work with Vista. DOS games rock.
