Does anyone use component cables with their PS3, and do they have problems playing Blu Rays. I know you cant upscail DVDs with the, but ive heard that they also downscail Blu Rays to 420p and the manual isnt a great help.

Does anyone have this problem when playing videos on the ps3 that even if you set the display to fullscreen it still cuts of bits of the imageeven though the manual says it doesnt. This is for videos, not DVDs and Blu Ray.
[QUOTE="smiggy4000"][QUOTE="JuggaloRandall"]No its nothing special, turn almost yesterday into today and buy yourslef an HD TV :P.JuggaloRandalland would you like to pay for it? Sure! Gimmie the money and I'll be happy to go to my local department store and pick up a HDTV for you :) Only if deliveries free :p
This is true. It all comes down to when you will be making the HD plunge. As I said, if it is years from now, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Take solace in the fact the DVD probably cost half what the Blu-Ray did though.rastanActually if you look at the costs of them now Blue Ray are only a little bit more expensive, the cost of DVDs has gone up abit in the past few to cope with the introduction of Blue Ray I think...

Unless you plan on doing so in the near future, don't bother. Why spend more on a disc and player now to use 5 years down the road when the media and player will likely be cheaper and better then?rastanthe near future was almost yesterday...

Never heard of component cables? ;) Its the green, red, blue cables, you may see the port on the back of hd tvs. There basically the yellow cable split in 3, so you usuallly get 5 plus including the audio ones.
