epicgames and idsoftware have become lazy ass console developers, easier to develop for crappy console. Even john carmack said the development tools for 360 are better than pc.
seemed like more people played pc games back in the day than they do now, even though the internet has been around longer it seems like gaming has died kinda on pc sites like gamespy arcade are empty pretty much mplayer.com heat.net gone not as many servers. LOL more people were pirating pc games back in the day,
