What's funny about this is what my brother pointed out to me... they had time to make a parody game, but apparently a PC demo for Bulletstorm couldn't be done.
Do a widowmaker... take your 10 rep max on squat and do 20 reps. You can do more reps if you like, but 20 should be hard enough if you chose an appropriate weight. It's also called a breathing squat because you'll be doing a lot of heavy breathing in between the later reps.
You can also do this as a finisher on your leg day, but a lighter weight might be necessary.
Well now... how do you think those people got around to moving big weights? They lifted weights and didn't avoid them because they were afraid of what others think.
You aren't gonna get anywhere if you give a **** about what other people think... the fact is, you're doing it for yourself, so your ability - not their abilities - is what should matter the most to you.
A lot of people start weak, others start strong, but at the end of the day you'll only improve if you keep doing it. Don't avoid it, embrace improving yourself, and maybe you'll eventually be one of those guys who moves big weights.
