You gonna be able to go way over 800 core clock. Prob around 820-850.. or even more if you volt mod it. jedikevin2Yeah, pretty much all gtx 460's can be overclocked well. If you go with an msi you'll probably be able to get 900+ xD

Thanks for your help again. One more question, Do i need a Quad core for gaming, or could i get away with a dual core Phenom II?3KULGo for a quad core, you wont regret it and you'll be future proof for some time. amd quad cores are really good value..
Firstly i know that it overclocks well, just read the reviews on it, even though i dont personally own one (i have the gigabyte oc version gtx460) but you should easily be able to get the core up to 800 because the cooler on it looks pretty decent. The MSI Hawk is even better for oc'ing though.Anyone have this card? I'm curious as to how well it overclocks (past the factory overclock) on the stock cooler.
Also does anyone know the length of the card compared to an 8800 GTX?

Should I get Blur or Burnout? Putting all the weapons and unique things aside which game has better straight up racing? I know blur has a bunch of cool new things but if the core racing aspect of the game isn't as good as burnout I would rather go with burnout. I have played burnout before so I know its good (if your into that arcade style racing). EDIT: Decided to go with Burnout! Blur looks like it has no free roam and also no traffic.dan_plus_oI've played burnout and its good fun, blur looks ok but i hate the way the cars just bounce off the walls. I think you should give burnout a go
24C sounds bout right depending if he is using custom fan controls. At 60% fan speed my gtx 460 768mb idles at 28C. jedikevin2Its on auto
Very low haha, its not far from snowing here in England, and my rooms radiator broke so its probably under 10 degreesWow 24 degrees whats your ambient temp?

Without a doubt the logitech mx518. Had mine roughly 2 years or so now, still works great, i think there about £20. Buttons are really useful (especially being able to change dpi with the click of a button), the mouse has a neat design and is very reliable.
[QUOTE="sn4k3_64"][QUOTE="CoolSkAGuy"]does anyone know if DoW2 works with a GTX 460?CoolSkAGuyOf course it will :P Really? I've heard that it crashes and system locks. Well generally it should be able to run pretty much anything, unless maybe its a driver conflict?
Ok cheers, i hope it goes no higher than 60 when gaming though xD[QUOTE="sn4k3_64"][QUOTE="Tezcatlipoca666"]
Most likely unless the game is very demanding for extended periods of time.
