Hey guys, was just going to ask people if they have ever experienced that feeling on counter strike or other games like wow, where you actually have like an addiction to it. Its strange, there is something which always draws me back to cs 1.6 even when i have stopped playing it for weeks. Yes its my favourite game, but its the only game which I can keep playing all year round and never get bored of the same maps. I could just play dust maps all day lol. I think its partially because everytime I play its a new experience and different situation. I might sound a bit sad but im just wondering, does anyone else here have the same experience with counter strike or any other game in general?

Would be great to hear some thoughts,

Thanks

Sean

Hi all, im looking for just a base unit computer for use with multimedia, like gaming, movies and general tasks. I want it to be quite fast and also something that is fairly easy to upgrade. I dont mind if its a refurb and im looking for a price of £300-£350. There seems to be some pretty decent specced computers at pc world that are refurbs but they tend to come with low spec graphics cards and the psu's are not listed :/. Please could you help me find a system that will be reliable and is in GBP currency.

Thanks very much,

Sean

Hey guys, me again xD This time I would be really grateful if you help me choose a graphics card that will possibly be an upgrade from the ati radeon x1650 pro pci/e 512mb that is in my machine at the moment. Problem is that my PSU is only 350 watts, and ideally if I had the money to upgrade this dell machine I'd buy a more powerful PSU, but considering its a dell, thats going to be a big pain...Anyways, what im asking is if you guys could please help me choose a graphics card that will perform better than the one I have at the moment so that I can run games like call of duty 4 on high graphics etc etc.

I found the sapphire Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card and it looks pretty decent, but im not sure if its worth the upgrade...

Please help,

thanks very much

Hi all, i'm looking for either a nice rpg game or strategy game like Age of Empires 3. I want an rpg or strategy game with quite nice graphics but dont want to find out that when I get it my computer cant run the game or its really choppy...Here are few games I would be happy with: Sacred 2 fallen angel, Titan Quest, neverwinter nights 2 (although im pretty sure wont be able to run it), command and conquer 3 etc.

My computer specs are as follows;

Intel Pentium 4 @ 3ghz.

Ati radeon x1650 pro, pci/e 512mb

1 gig of ram

Please feel free to let me know if I can run any of these games smoothly with at least medium graphical detail: also I would be grateful if you could recommend me other games that would run well with my hardware.

Thanks very much,

Sean

Ok thanks very much guys. I'll be honest I have used hacks out of frustration of getting pwned sometimes but I stopped using them because they are no fun and are unfair on others. I do actually play aim maps regularly and honestly have quick reflexes. I guess practice makes perfect...

Cheers

Bye all

Yeah I noticed, this new one I bought has 1800 dpi, although I doubt it'll make much difference. I think 1800 dpi is really quite hard to get used to on cs as every slight movement is recognised by the mice. I just changed it to max 1400 dpi...should be enough :)

Cya guys

thanks for the response
