Microsoft isn't the first company to ship defective hardware: Remember Atari's controllers that broke after only 30 minutes of game play, the 32X, which they say was capable of damaging Genesis Cartridges, Nitnendo's Blinking Red Light or the Playstation 2's faulty disk drives. Every major Console Maker has shipped defective hardware, call it being cheap, rushing to beat the competition, or just plain bad buisness

The RRoD is one of those things that has been blown out of preportions. If it's fixed, good for them, but thing is if it doesn't come from a columnist or blogger then no one will believe it anyway.

As much as I want a PS3, I refuse to buy one that doesn't have backwards compatibility because there are too many good PS2 and PS1 games out there.

It's a pretty good game, but there's little changed from the first game with the exception that the design team had a small team of serial killers designing the damage physics

it pains me to say this, but I have to: The NES

As much as disapointed as I am in the Wii. I want this to be know it's not the NES's library, that I hate. It's the NES's HARDWAREthat makes me label it as Nintendo's Worst Console.

As bad as the Virutal Boy was, and as annoying as the Wii and it's game library are, at least they didn't require nearly a half hour of tinkering in order to get the games working, only to have them crash, freeze, or become distorted after 5 minutes of game play. I don't think any of us will forget the Blinking Red Light

Graphics don't always make the game
