@arsy130: Depends where you are and what is your usage scenario. For mainstream multimedia, gaming and streaming this is good build. One thing I'd change is the stupid all in one water cooler with quality air cooler.
@arsy130: Actually that's exactly what it does mean. Latency is completely another thing though and its importance depend heavily of applications you are using. In nutshell CPU clock speed > RAM clock speed > smaller latency RAM.
@Speranza318: Wrong, I have similar setup to this and my rig run lots of games 4K 60 fps just by lowering wastefull settings like MSAA and I prefer to turn off motion blur and dof anyways, because they make games look ugly and blurry .
I have almost exactly the same build, but not overkill with RAM. I7 6700k, decent air cooler, 16GB corsair dominator DDR4, Asus Strix GTX1080, phanteks enthoo evolv tempered glass case, Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha motherboard, 2x 128GB SSD, 2x WD Black 2TB HDD, 750w quality PSU.
@mattaui: 1070 doesn't run games at 4K fine. If you mean 30fps I can tell you that for PC gamers that is NOT fine exactly. I have 1080 and even that doesn't run 4K as well I wish.
@RussellMartin: Yeah this is not your typical third person action game with stealth elements console game, so stay away if you don't want to use your brain cells.
