I actually think its the opposite. By having Team Ninja on board, they can capture the Western Audience that LOVE action, action, and gorgeous cutscenes. Just take a look at God of War, Ninja Gaiden, Final Fantasy, etc.Metroid is for the Japanese audience only
If you live out of Japan this Metroid is not meant for you

Assuming I buy Resident evil archives, what's the difference between the wii version and the GC version?
EpiphoneMan2008
The GC version comes in a black plastic case with "GameCube" priinted across the top of the cover sleeve. The Wii version, on the other hand, comes in a white plastic case. I think it also has "Wii" printed on the upper right hand corner of the sleeve. The biggest difference, however, is that the Wii version comes on a standard DVD-sized disc, whereas the media used for the GC version is quite small.
wow THAT IS NOT all that is different LOL have you EVER played it? The Wii Edition has the BONUS modes like Assignment Ada and Mercenaries Mode! the GC version DID NOT have that! They were talking about Resident Evil. Not Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil Archives is just a port of the GC remake from about 7 years ago. It's is exactly the same game, with just remapped controls. Resident Evil is drastically different from RE4. There are fixed camera angles, the controls are in the perspective of the character, and not your viewpoint, so it leads to awkward control, and it doesn't have as much action. On the other side, it more tense, scary, and just overall more moody. You might like it, you might not. Watch some gameplay videos and see if it is something you might enjoy.Nobody mentions SC2?? It needs a little respect. One of the most balanced and fun fighting games of last gen, followed by two terrible sequels. Everyone was balanced, it was fresh, etc. I must've spent hundreds of hours tweaking combos for Nightmare and Ivy, not to mention playing mindgames with Link's items. Same thing with Smash Melee. It was so much fun watching people attacking nothing because you play them into situations where you can punish. Brawl is more situational. When they were designing it, I think they wanted you to play by mixing it up more, not pulling endless fairs and ken combos when playing as Marth.
As for the topic, I haven't played enough SF4 to make a concrete judgement.
