[QUOTE="snorlaxmaster"][QUOTE="EuroMafia"]I don't know about these games, what do they add new besides some songs?SpruceCaboose

Dude these games are awesome!! If you haven't played any of them, do yourself a favor and pick one up (you can probably find GH2 on the cheap for 360!!)

Man, after spending a mint on RB and watching it just sit after a month or so, nah. I will pass on both.If I was getting one, it'd be GHWT for the much better drum set.

That's what i am looking foreward to as well, looks pretty sweet. See 'ya man. ;)

I really don't think Sony or MS have too much of a choice. 3rd party devs have proven that you cannot trust them w/o some sort of contract. Besides, i like to see new franchises more then the same old reahashes anyway. Sony already has made a foray into 1st party territory, now MS needs to step up to the plate. ;)

Bad experience? good experience? Please 'splain. :P

Well, I mean Guitar Hero 2 came dangerously close to giving me carpal tunnel (not joking) and then after spending 160 bucks on RB and having the guitar break and being dissapointed by the setlist and DLC, well I guess you could say bad experience.

lol okay point well made man. :P Sorry to hear about all of your troubles, but i know your not alone, i heard the RB stuff was prone to breaking..... maybe you should stay away from periferals man lol. see ya' ;)

I don't see the connection to the topic.

It's simple, the more data cramped into one disk, the more data the drive will have to go through to find the correct info. ;)

[QUOTE="darkSIDEechoes"]You can install games on a 360?swamprat_basic

In the dashboard updates they talked about at E3, they mentioned a new option to copy an entire game disc to the hard-drive. You will still need the game disc in the drive, but the machine will not access any data from the drive while you are playing. They say that this will completely eliminate drive noise, and that games might load as much as 30% faster.

Lol *cough*PC*cough* :P

Why would load times get any longer than they all ready are? There is a finite amount of RAM in the machine.

Even if game devs start instituting mandatory installs, which is different than this new install option, they're not going to make you copy the entire disc to the hard-drive.

Read above... At any rate this doesn't affect me anyway, I will be getting an Elite so no worries for space for me....

[QUOTE="snorlaxmaster"][QUOTE="Gamerman12362"]At most 9.5 GBishBioShockOwnz

OMG....... That's insane!!! I don't wan't to hear anyone complain about PS3 installs anymore, and don't say "bu bu but teh manditory" the heck with that, you bots are facing retarded HDD upgrade prices or long freakin' load times for the rest of this gen...

I don't know where you're getting that from. My Xbox 360 games load quickly without any install, bud.

I didn't say current games have this problem, but as devs start pushing the hardware further, load times will get longer...

Nice crystal ball ya got there...

God of War 2 loads faster than than Eternal Ring... /cry

GOW 2 was also short as all get out and fit spaciously on a DVD, 360 on the other hand is going to have a harder time finding info off of cramped disks....

[QUOTE="snorlaxmaster"][QUOTE="ninjaxams"]besides, imo insomniac makes garbage games anyway...ninjaxams
Blasphemy!!!! Insomniac is one of the best devs out there today and they've proven to make numerous AAA games that all have sold millions....

IMO. their games look and play well enough i suppose, but still, they tend to suffer from stupid little design choices and all feel incredibly generic. IMO...

Fair enough, i am not going to tell you that your oppinion is wrong lol :P
