Never finished 1 and always wanted to go back and play the series. Thank you Steam.

[QUOTE="Maddie_Larkin"]I am just gonna go and say it. What the hell is good about the story in vampire masquarade bloodlines? If anything its filled with wasted potential and crappy endings. The whole "Story" progression in this game feels rushed and forced.I suppose vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines and Deus ex are candidates aswell? they have some fairly good stories.
Also Arcanum was really great if my memory serves.
BG2 and PS:T aswell.

The beauty of the story is what happens off screen, unbeknownst to your character, which you can piece together after finishing the game.
If you're talking about input lag, try this:

If it's still doing it, lower your Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames in the Nvidia Control Panel.
Hope this helps
[QUOTE="Hakkai007"][QUOTE="ferret-gamer"]Thats not how it works. If there was no cap, then(using your example framerates) would drop from 45fps to 25fps. a frame cap is an upper limit of the framerate it doesn't make the game more taxing to run on the hardware or something. im not even sure what gave you that idea.ferret-gamer
It has happened to me with other games.
limiting the fps would cause worse performance in some areas.
limiting the fps causes worse performance if you would normally run it above that cap. But if you are dipping below that cap then you will still get that min FPS whether the cap was there or not. All a FPS cap does is put an upper limit on the framerate. This is totally wrong. So totally wrong.
VSync is always one of the worst FPS-killing culprits.
