@ExplicitMike But then you'll get PC gamers telling you that you should play on PC if that's all you want. If you don't want console exclusives and don't game on PC, you could be seen to be a conservative.

Also, the presenter's list of what's needed for a console seems to be authored pretty sneakily and in the safe post-launch light of MS and Sony. It' also a bit self-defeating. He admits the Wii was phenomenal, but it never satisfied his list at all times either.

They said this about the 3DS - it's launch looked arguably worse than the Wii U. Nintendo seem to be more comfortable when they aren't in the lead - also, they arguably produce better software when they aren't in the lead.

@gjheinzelman Is the point that the game is an inaccurate city building sim, or an inaccurate governance sim?

THIS gets released, but more promising and similar ideas like Project HAMMER do not...

Makes you think.

It really, really, does.

Well, it's called SimCity, not SimMayor - but maybe I'm missing the point.

@freedom01 The PC players will never tolerate you. I would keep that sensible, humble attitude to yourself.

@DigiTMPS3 Practice in HI-RES, yes. Lo-res practice is actually harmful, any scientician will tell you that.

@cailebb @so_hai Well, if you get what you pay for, the game prices tell the whole story, don't they?
