Also, if your unit isn't desirable (Vita, for example), then the company isn't scolded for having limited supply, but they're not scolded for having a unit that's undesirable...

You need to decide what you're arguing, or just admit you're singling out Nintendo for some other agenda.

Also, if success doesn't bother you, you should rejoice about the Switch.

It certainly weakens your argument - if they're master manipulators, why have they ever failed? Doesn't make sense.

@rmokeefe76: Where is it shown that they're using test audiences. If you admit the Wii U failed, then your premise is weakened. Thank you for acknowledging that.

Trying to get off topic by targeting me personally indicates that you're not too confident in the data, and want to discredit me to prop it up. Show me an article that even suggests market manipulation for Nintendo launches. We would expect to see endless sell outs for everything everywhere. Show me.

You didn't address the 3DS launch either. Why did that fizzle if they're such good manipulators?
