This looks like a sale at a single electronics chain that will last about a week. Of course, Sony does need to drop the PS3 by a huge amount if it wants to sell units. Also, it's hard to imagine that MS would be able/willing to counter with its own price drop, at least in lieu of that megaton 3-year free-replacement warranty, along with its billion-dollar charge.WeeWeeJumbo

If MS want to keep the lead they need to match Sonys price drop. Also The 360 has been out the longest, if any of the consoles should drop the price it's 360.demoralizer

No the ps3 is still 100(200 if you buy the worthless core) more than the 360
