Off topic. The Bears have an easy schedule. They look really good, but an easy schedule really distorts their talent. If they were in the AFC and played the Steelers, Colts, Patriots, and Chargers (twice) like my Broncos do, they'd look a hell of allot different. The Cardinals loss to the Bears on Monday Night football literally made me sick to my stomach. The whole damn game they talked about the 85 Bears and how this Bears team is just like them. Jesus, that made me so annoyed. And then they had to comeback and win so everyone wasn't wrong and didn't look like an idiot for comparing them to the 85 Bears. It's always an easy ride to the Super Bowl for an NFC team and then they get owned by an AFC. Please note the NFC has long since dominated the league up until the late 90's. The Bears will go to the Super Bowl and everyone will be talking about them those two weeks before the big game. They will talk about the 85 Bears the whole dang time and everyone will be pulling for the Bears and then the Bears will lose.

Haha, I hope the Broncos beat the Colts next week. The Colts have no defense or running game. It makes me wonder how they win. It's all Manning...that man is a freak of nature. I think the demise of Sega started with the Saturn. The Saturn was a complete joke and confidence in Sega was lost. If we are to reflect on the past, never be the first company to release the a next gen console. Dreamcast was the first next gen console and 360 is the first next gen console this time around. I remember when Dreamcast came out and the growth in interest was slow because everyone was waiting for the new Sony. It made perfect sense at the time because Sony was still dominating. Sony had a year to plan it's PS2 launch after Dreamcast and now they've had a year to plan PS3 after Microsoft. I wonder if history will repeat itself. Sony has had the advantage both times. The Dreamcast was a great system with great games. It just couldn't compete with the Sony machine. Only Microsoft can really compete with Sony at this point because they have so much money. Depending on how well Wii does it will still take another next gen console for Nintendo to get back in the game. Sony and XBox have too much market share. Josh

pastree, I have played Halo and Halo 2 and wish I could get those precious minutes back. I really don't care if I get owned on Halo. I don't care if somebody else can point a gun at shoot faster than me. The thing that bothers me about Halo is the lack of sustenance. Any idiot can shoot a gun and blow up things. If you play Halo you are a consumer whore. You play it because everyone else plays it not because it's a good game. Bungie must be rolling around laughing on the floor (rolf) at all the people that fell for this piece of garbage of a game. I will give Bungie credit for restoring Halo to it's original glory. It once was an rts game and will be an rts with Halo Wars. I don't play Counterstrike, never have. I don't play World of Warcraft either. I stay away from games that are mindless and repetitive and lack substance. I'm a strategy gamer. I also like adventure games too. I like games with story, character, and strategy. Games that make you think. Games that create waves, not ride them. Josh

I work at Best Buy and I remember when HD-DVD came out. We had a whole end cap just for the HD-DVD player. Then the Toshiba Blue Ray player came out and it replaced the HD-DVD player endcap. Haha!

At $600 it doesn’t seem like you're buying a console in this day and age. I really don't see what demographic Sony is appealing too. Most gamers are in their late teens and early twenties and most of us sure as hell cant afford $600. It really disappoints me that I won't be able to afford this system, but that doesn’t make me upset for Sony and I'm not complaining about the price. I understand that value of the PS3 though. You really do get a bang for your buck. When you factor in the blue-ray player, the hardrive, and graphics processors you're saving allot. Heck, a blue ray player alone is $400 if I'm correct. I give them credit for making a console more than a game system. It really should be a media hub for your living room and that's what Sony is suggesting. This is what makes me think about whether of not I need a console system anymore. I've always been a PC gamer. Before I was a PC gamer I couldn't afford a computer so I bought consoles and their games. Now that I can afford a computer(s) there really isn't a reason for me to buy a console anymore. I can just buy a gaming computer and hook it up to my entertainment center. I know computers are still more expensive than consoles, but I figure if I'm going to spend $600 on a PS3 I'd rather just use the gamming computer I already have and put it in my living room. I'll take $600 and buy a decent computer for my bedroom to replace my gaming machine that is good for music, photos, and internet. I'm perfectly fine with my computer games that look a hell of alot better. You can modify PC games too so the reply value is pretty much infinite. On the other hand, I need to have my Metal Gear Solid and that would be the only reason I buy a PS3. I'm not flaming Sony. I've always been a Sony fan boy and always will. I wish them success with the PS3. I'm also excited about Nintendo and I hope they are also successful. We need Nintendo to stick around so innovation and competition thrives in the gaming industry. As for Microsoft, I fear Microsoft will take over the gamming industry. They have too much money and already control the computer industry. I really hope the FCC and SEC can keep an eye on Microsoft. They're becoming way too powerful. With Vista and Direct X 10, they will control the entire pc gaming industry. Okay, I need to stop. haha Long story short, go Sony!, go Nintendo!, forget Xbox, fack Halo. Josh
