Depends on the usage, I suppose.

Say, if that Candy Crush player obsessively plays that particular game backwards and forwards and gets 3 stars on every level and maybe helps you with your own, or plays yours because they left theirs somewhere, does that sort of dedication not count as a hardcore player? Albeit an exclusively hardcore Candy Crush player.

A good reviewer writes honestly and doesn't let outside sources influence their work. Nothing more, nothing less. Whether or not the readers agree with them or not is irrelevant. As long as the writer can properly articulate and argue their position well, they've done their job, far as I'm concerned.

This is pretty much it, with this addendum:

A good reviewer must be able to articulate the reasons why they liked it and why they disliked it. It's by this measuring stick, and not by a numerical value (too objective and final, compared to the review itself) that people who read these reviews should gauge whether or not they want to try the game.

The reviewer thinks the game is terrible because of so and so shortcomings? It's the reader's prerogative to decide whether or not it's negligible, or something to look out for. A good reviewer is able to portray that their review is also subjective - because in the end, a good review is one that helps a player think to themselves whether or not they want a product or not.

Why would you eat dessert instead of your meal? They're both delicious and filling in their own way, and some people just don't like dessert, or prefer dessert to a meal.

Same with Pokemon and Persona. Different tastes, themes and fulfills different needs.

Chaos Rings! Was lucky that I got two of the games for sale. SE games are so pricey.

Huh. Didn't even realize it existed. I'll check it out. Thanks for mentioning it!

A definite yes, but I'll most likely wait for the slim version to appear. In the meantime, I'll just start collecting the games I want.
