Double XP, indeed.

I thought it was just for the 360 guys to go along with the new map pack, but the double XP applies to all systems!

Happy gaming!

As an educator, a culturally-competent educator at that, let's eliminate "colored" from our vocabulary.

As a gamer, a compelling storyline/characters makes the game - not the race/sex/religion/ethnicity of said characters.

I'm new to the series, but I think it's fantastic. I had a buddy recommend it, knowing that I'm a true first-person-shooter-type at heart, but can easily be captivated by an awesome 3rd person action/adventure game or RPG if the story is right.

Thus, ME2 was right up my alley.

I feel the story is incredibly deep, and ifyou take the time to learn more about your team and INVEST heavily in them, you're rewarded with a great story and a true sense that Sheperd is yours. For a game like that, true ownership of a character/team is crucial.

I don't know exactly how far I am in the game (I just had my first encounter with the Collectors and have done about 5 character side missions), but I'm loving it. My full slate of gaming (my daily rotation, if you will) has totally been shaken up. What used to be adifferent game each night has become me jumping on the Normandy ready for action.

When I was on the fence about which next-gen console to get (360 or PS3), I did a lot of reading up on game/system reviews from both individuals and sites just like this. Uncharted 2 persuaded me toward the PS3 and I haven't looked back since :)

A guy that I play co-op with all the time has all 3 big systems, and seriously has a spin wheel he uses to decide what game/system he will be playing with that day. I, on the other hand, just have a PS3, but I have too many games that I've taken a bite out of of without finishing! I'm currently working on Mass Effect 2, Borderlands, Red Dead, New Vegas, Oblivion.... Blast. I guess, bottom line, if you've got the time, go for it. If you're worried about your XBOX or PS3 eventually filing neglect paperwork, stick to one system. Good luck!

Borderlands and Resident Evil 5 were very enjoyable for a buddy and myself. We also tried Army of Two, but didn't come away with too much.

Fallout 3, hands down. Loved it! New Vegas is enjoyable, as well as TES IV: Oblivion. I'm currently jumping into Mass Effect 2 - it may overtake Fallout 3... All great though!

A buddy and I played through Resident Evil 5 and enjoyed it, even though it didn't follow the traditional RE script. We are now playing Borders (Game of the Year edition - the DLC is sick) and we both LOVE it. Uncharted 2 has some co-op missions for MP that are fun, but I would go with Borderlands! Good luck, bro!
