No, it's not the best portable ocnsole because it doesn't even work as a proper portable device. First off its too big, what kinda pocket can fixi t? Second, I've played Zelda with a full battery charge and it lasted about 2 hours 15 minutes before the battery died. Portable my arse!

Oh and as a home console, it is not innovative. Its just a tablet, it uses tablet tech and andi t doesn't even properly function as the joycon gets unresponsive at certain angles, the screen can be scratched when docked and the most cardinal sin? It is lacklustre when compared to older home consoles.

I'm supposed to be doing a blog post about all this and my time fwith BOTW but mods havent given me any info on how to sticky it so ppl can read it, anyone known?

@waahahah: Your exact quote: "its a totally different concept for open world design"

What are the totally different concepts available in BOTW?

Mass Effect 2 is similar in terms of gameplay ,especially the action but where it differs from ME3 and makes it better is the story and how that story is told. ME2 > ME3 by quite some margin.

Open world or not, Ubisoft have spent years simply making sequels to titles that got tired and boring by their 2nd or 3rd entries and are now on their 6th or 7th entry lol

@waahahah: I have played BOTW on the Switch for the last 4ish days. I don't understand this whole "new concept on open world design". It really isn't. In fact, its a very toned down, simple reflection of open world games. Kinda like what MGSV did. GTA V, RDR, Skyrim and FO3 are all SO MUCH BETTER in open world design.

So I'm curious, what is new about it's open world design?

That's not to say it's a bad game. It is quite fun and I'll be revealing more via my blog.

I would have posted this on the feedback forum but I could not access it so if anyone knows, especially any mods, let me know.

Thanks!

Fair point about the sentiment. HL2 came about in my mid teens and marks a high point in gaming for me. But if there was ever a remaster that I would buy, it would be HL2 but it has to be more than just superficial upgrades.
