Do you wait for people to track you on GameSpot or are you the one who sends out the freinds requests? Out of all my friends on GameSpot i've only added two, Elraptor and JustPlainLucas, and right nowi only have 33 friends. No one i know personally...and would you consider yourself to be well known and popular?

[QUOTE="soulfood4"][QUOTE="herbasher"]There have been Gamestop employees I have ran into that were so busy talking to buddies, they make customers with money in hand wait. Then when they get to them, they continue the conversation with their buddies and hardly acknowledge the customer. I have seen that a few times. Other ones who were opinionated in a non helpful way, but in a I am right and the other person is wrong way. Fan boys of certain consoles. The company policies don't help either. Dealing with the public and low pay has to suck though. herbasher
People who did that at the one i worked at were fired, for standing around and ignoring customers. As far as fanboys, i am one, i always pointed people towards the PS3 console if they were looking for a next gen system. But of course i gave them the differences, pros and cons, of both systems.

Well, these people were not being objective or giving pros or cons. It was more about being right, rather then helping a customer match up with a product they can afford and is a practical fit. Being a fan boy is fine, steering some one towards what you think is the best product is fine, but being a di#% about it isn't. I'm sure you weren't being that from what you said.

My co-worker did that to me when i was with a customer, he butted in saying "is he talking to you about PS3? Don't listen to him, hes just trying to justify his purchase." I didnt own a PS3 back then...i never did like him, i dont think he was too fond of me either. But if someones being a jerk or rude, just tell them, or talk to someone else.

"Today, I was sitting in class and I fell asleep during the lesson. I was wearing sweatpants and had an erection. My teacher came up to me and grabbed my penis She thought it was my phone. FML"

That'd suck

I think the site is pretty funny but I have difficulty believing stories like that

Who cares if they're true?

Not me! Still funny as hell. Today, I texted my boyfriend to see if he wanted to finally have sex today. His response was "Can't, Platinum just came out." I didn't know what that meant so I searched "Platinum 3-22-2009" on Google. I found out he's talking about a new Pokemon game. FML

[QUOTE="Allicrombie"]I worked there for one month and prayed for death daily =Pherbasher
Wow, after hearing that, maybe I shouldn't be so hard on people who work at gamestop?

Well there are some customers that are annoying, and the pays not good, but if a GameStop employee is being less than helpful, you should not pity him. He's getting paid to be there, even though i hated it, i was always helpful to the customers.

I was seasonal, the only thing that saved me from suicide was the district manager, she brought pizza and soda to use every other day.
