yes, it's wayyy overpriced for what you get. The vita is the same price and it's technology is extremely advanced compared to the 3DS. In my opinion, the 3DS is worth $150.

Companies sells to earn and not to lose money. Nintendo sells the systems to earn money while Sony sells the systems losing money. Not every company can sell at a lose. Sony risk everything to earn with the games accessories and so on.
Seriously, how can you people have sealed games? When I buy a game, even if I don't intend on playing it for a while, I still open it up and check the disk is in there and browse the manual for a couple of seconds.
Reggie specifically said that the 3DS' price won't be going anywhere to compete with the Vita. I think the 3DS will win in the long run because of the titles, but I could see the price of the 3DS being lowered to $200 in about a year or so... Probably next christmas. I can definitely see the price lower when they bring out another model.
But personally, I wish the price point was $200 bucks right now... I mean I just spent $300 dollars on a PS3 not too long ago. I'm going to get the system sooner or later, but I'm scared to invest my money on it right now just in case it flops. If I do get it, I'd be playing Pokemon instead of any of the 3DS titles tbh...

You cant compare it to what you payed for a PS3 thats a 6 year old console that was originally twice that amount. I think the 3DS has a bright future regardless of happens with the vita really.
That's like comparing a Desktop PC with a Laptop PC.
Seriously i don't think they will put that much space and maybe they already got rid of it and will launch it without internal space. They won't be selling it at a loss and give the costumer everything they want for less. This is a business.

Capcom is definitely taking advantage of the lack of decent software for the 3DS - I'm sure they know they would never be able to get away with this kind of crap in a year's time. But right now, there are so few good games that people will probably buy up a reasonable number of copies of this laziness just because it's not complete garbage. 30 missions not 10 and feature different characters with customization.
