I'm sure you could get used to it, but a DSi XL is pretty much meant to sit on a table while you play.

Considering Nintendo has been throwing out new DS models every 3-5 months and you're short on money, a used DS Lite or DSi would work.

I don't think the DSi XL has been released yet, so those would be pricey, even used.

The DSi was released yesterday. I pick up mine yesterday at GameStop. Is the best handheld I ever had. Bigger screens is a plus, clear crispy; feel sturdytoo, not so heavy. Portability??? I remember my original GameBoy I use to take with me everywere, so for me that is not a problem. Many people bash the DSi XL without even try it.

It sitll weight more than the first DS Model.

Looks just about as big as a PSP. If you're fine with a PSP then I'd say a DSi XL will be fine with you too. Also I bet you're gonna get quite a lot of yes's. Don't own one though but I'd recommend the XL.Kenny789
From what i have hear it is actually bigger than a PSP and have a lot more weight.

TC asked whether or not he should get a DSi or DSi XL for his daughter. He didn't ask for your opinion on why she doesn't need a DS. You think you know what's best for his child, and tried to convince him otherwise. That to me is ignorant.

Who the hell are you? His Wife? This was just an opinion don't take it personal, grow up.

I'm not the one getting all bent out of shape. Seems like you're the one that needs to grow up, ok champ?

Ok so i really don't understand you, you keep aguing with me like a little child or teen for no reason even after telling you I'M SORRY IF MY OPINION MADE YOU MAD.

I'd say go with the DS Lite, assuming your daughter probably doesn't care about the extra features on the DSi, so it would be cheaper.Superzone

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"][QUOTE="hydralisk86"] Not sure what you mean by loose. Maybe the problem is with your ds lite, not with all ds lites. hydralisk86
What i mean is you know not like the DS Lite that when it is turned downside the dpad came out a bit and it doesn't stays perfectly firm when using it.

That sounds like a real issue. I'm not sure that that is a normal thing.

Yes it is normal, After Nintendo sent me back the system they said it was normal and i have tried systems from different people and they are like this.

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"][QUOTE="hydralisk86"] I had a lite before, but due to certain circumstances, i was able to get a new dsi. Imo the d pad is better, it's clickier. However, it's up to you if you want to spend more money to get the dsi. hydralisk86
Is it very loose like the one from the Lite?
