well, my last week before school is here and i'm gonna spend it playing both these games.
surprisingly, i'm having more fun with nintendogs...its a very addicting game. its totally blown away all my expectations.
advance wars is also amazing, but in different ways. i've barely scratched the surface so i'm sure theres much more fun to come with that one.
i love my ds...

oh, and i named my golden retriever pup after my real golden retriever...maddie. kinda boring, but i love my maddie (the real one...although i do love my nintendog maddie, too)

well, my lovely girlfriend, rachel, just joined gamespot the other day. i think she just wants to see how i can waste so much damn time here, personally. regardless, i'm glad she's here (even if shes rarely on)

I've been keeping a gallon jug and filling it with spare change for quite some time now (I think almost a year). Well, after the pricing of the 360 was announced, I decided to dump it all out and count how much I have...The jug is a little over 1/2 full and I have about $130-140 in it now.
I have some stuff that I'm gonna put up on eBay, so that should help the fund as well...

I think that BF2 is one of the most addicting games I've ever played. It has everything I love in most fps's and more. i only wish that in single player my teammates were a little brighter...there have been countless times where i've been riding along with one and they keep getting stuck between objects and then just kinda give up and we sit there...
If anyone has this game, I'd love to play. I've only played online a few rounds...but I love it.

not sure what its from...but it was on a cd i got from idw publishing awhile back and i just found. i thought it looked pretty damn cool.

Well, it's been quite some time since my last journal update, so I've been struggling to think of interesting things to talk about...

I just got done watching The Machinist, and I'm still kinda confused by it. It didn't end the way I had thought it would, which is a good thing...but it left me confused. For those of you that don't know anything about the movie, there's not much I can even say about it. Christian Bale plays a totally emaciated machinist (hence the title) that is going thru some weird stuff. That's about it. It plays out like a 90 minute long Twilight Zone episode.
My only major gripe about the movie is the music. It was weird 50's sci-fi music (again, very Twilight Zonish). It was fine at first, but there's just way too much of it...So much it was laughable.
It's also very hard to look at Bale. He weighs about 120 pounds and is basically a skeleton...*shudder*

Anyways, long story short, if you like totally f***ed movies I would recommend it, but be warned that it is damn suspensful and kind of hard to watch at times. I give it a 7.5/10 overall, but it would be more if I understood the ending.

i've put almost 4 hours into it in the past 24 hours. that's 1/6 of an entire day, part of which was spent sleeping.
i hope i dont burn out on it, but i don't even think thats possible. theres still so much to unlock, and plus its fun anyways.

I'm now the proud owner of a blue Nintendo DS. My only game is Meteos, but I think that will keep me occupied for quite some time. More info and more games to come!
